"Had the honour of seeing these guys recently at a wedding I was attending, they were awesome. The lead singer was a gentleman and nothing but a pro, quick witted and crowd engaging. As for the rest of the band the lead guitar, bass and drums were again an exceptional level. The range of music they played pretty much broke the mould covering all genres from pop to RnB all the way over to rock and soul. nearly covering every decades best tunes. Had a chat to singer and again I must say a very personable guy always wearing a smile and full of good energy. I'd have absolutely no problem highly recommending these guys to anyone thinking of booking them for any type of event, they filled the dancefloor with every song, had people singing their hearts out and made the evening extra special for all."

"We had an absolutely rocking time! The band had really great energy and didn't seem to miss even a note the whole evening. They played all the songs we asked for and even did a few extras to keep all our friends and family out on the dance floor and hopping. We would not hesitate to recommend the band to anyone for a function or to book them again if we had the chance. "

"South West Band played our wedding of 100 people and they were amazing. Dancefloor never emptied out and everyone was so impressed. The band worked with us to pick a setlist that worked for our occasion and I wouldn't hesitate to book them again for any event I could justify! Five stars not enough."

"Hi Aly (and all the Aluinn and Definitives musicians), WOW - you are brilliant, amazing and totally delivered!!! Thank you all so much for playing at my party at Markington Hall last week and making it such an incredible evening. Really enjoyed both bands equally. Quite a few people were worried about the ceilidh and told me they "probably won't dance" but they did and they didn't seem to stop all night. And then the momentum seemed to pick up even more with the Definitives sets - just fab. Quite a few people have asked me for your details so I hope this will lead to more bookings in our area. "Wow!! What a fantastic band . The ladies dressed beautifully in their swing dresses . They sang great songs that everyone knew. The whole room was up dancing all night. We would recommend this band to anyone that wants a great party like we had. "

"I just wanted to get in touch to say THANK YOU for such an incredible band! WOW WOW WOW! I have honestly hand on heart not seen such a fantastic band and the floor was packed all night which was amazing! From their professionalism, personalities, performance and fabulous set it was faultless. I can cannot tell you how many compliments we've had about "the best band we've ever seen!" and everyone is trying to get me to book you guys again same time next year for a 1 year anniversary party! Ha! Seriously though I can't thank you enough for all your hard work, and patience with me ;) I was so thrilled with how it all went, it simply just couldn't have been better! "What a FABULOUS band! Stargazers had such a great energy and had everyone up dancing on the dance floor all night (not to mention the fantastic talent they all have!!!). From start to finish, the band were so helpful and I cannot recommend them enough. My dad had always dreamed of playing his saxophone at my wedding and Stargazers’s manager gladly corresponded with him prior to the wedding to make this happen- it was truly amazing! All of our guests were astonished by the talent and wondered how on Earth we had found such a fantastic band! They truly made it a memorable day for not only ourselves, but all of our guests. "I just wanted to say thanks to the The 3D Band for the AMAZING performance at our wedding a couple of weeks ago. Having seen them play before, I knew they were brilliant, but I was still blown away by their energy and professionalism. The dance floor was full the whole time, and so many guests have raved to us about them and said they were the best wedding band they've ever seen. They really made the evening something special. Thanks also to you for being so helpful and easy to communicate with beforehand - this was a beautifully stress-free experience in the world of crazy wedding planning!"

"The Back Beat Buskers played and entertained at my friends 50th birthday party. They are a very talented band with a great repertoire of songs and they really understand how to entertain both during dinner and when the party needs to get going. As an added bonus they are all very easy on the eye which gave great delight among the female guests at our party."

"Absolute Mayhem The Horse & Chains, Bushey on Saturday 30 September 2023 It's a rare thing to go into a local pub and hear a keyboard player who has been described as a musical "genius" by none other than David Bowie. This is no tall story either. The musician Billy Ritchie was the first player in rock music to give keyboards a prominent role -- and that was before Keith Emerson (ELP) and Rick Wakeman came on the scene. Billy told me that he remained good friends with the Thin White Duke until his death in 2016. Lanark-born Mr Ritchie now provides the skilful and fancy keyboards and records backing tracks for his latest incarnation Mayhem with talented female singer Carol Leslie. Carol is a really strong vocalist with a gutsy style. This dynamic duo started their first set at the cosy Sebright Arms with Elvis's late sixties' classic Suspicious Minds. The second song was a surprise -- Kirsty MacColl's comedy number There's A Guy Works Down The Chip Shop Swears His Elvis. It was a perfect choice after the first song. Carol and Billy select their material wisely and give their audience something very different from the predictable Mustang Sally, Brown Eyed Girl and I Saw Her Standing There, churned out by so many pub bands. So it was great to hear Georgio Moroder and Phil Oakey's electro smash Together In Electric Dreams, Matchbox's catchy rocker Rockabilly Rebel, Starship's uplifting We Built This City (on which Billy demonstrated his keyboard dexterity) and Solomon Burke's gospel-ish Cry To Me. And that was just the first half. Carol is happy to tackle songs usually associated with male vocalists and she started part two with a raucous version of Bryan Adams' rocker Summer Of 69. If you have never seen Mayhem, ask Billy to perform Light My Fire, the Doors rock classic from 1967. This was a sheer musical masterclass as he re-created both vocally and instrumentally this great song. Billy has a rich, tuneful voice and this was a stunning performance. Other highlights in the second half included Journey's rock anthem Don't Stop Believing, Carol's gritty interpretation if Shania Twain's Man I Feel Like A Woman and a fine performance of Bon Jovi's Living On A Prayer A total of 24 songs and I cannot wait to see this duo again. My only concern is their name. I think many club and pubgoers might think Mayhem are a heavy metal band rather than an all-round, top class duo.
