"Came across this guy through the internet and made contact and ask for a few melody’s which he kindly did so we could play for our wee nan as she was on end of life and instantly our Nan wanted this guy as she was a pipe major back in Ireland many moons ago so knew a piper when she heard them play Billy was very reliable very very good and very helpful the guy is top class and worth every penny made the special day a lot easier And the whole family was over the moon with billy and partner "

"Where to even start?! WOW! We’re honestly all still buzzing! What a night we all had on Saturday! Honestly, it was so, so special for us and you guys were the biggest part of that. I knew you were going to be amazing but you were amazing AND THEN SOME! It’s so lovely to hear that you were all loving life too – that means a lot! I just can’t thank you enough personally for all of your help and advice in the lead up to the party – you’ve been so helpful, accommodating and reassuring the whole time and just been so nice to be in touch with! It’s been such a pleasure! And again on the day you were a complete star and took so much work away from us as we literally didn’t have to worry about you guys – you had it all in hand, even the clearing up – naughty! Haha! Please pass on our sincere thanks to Dale and the whole band who are all so super talented, and so super fun! They absolutely made our night! I had high expectations and they smashed them! I have to give a shout out to our singers, I mean how incredible were they?! So much charisma and sass- I think I’m actually obsessed with them haha! Not forgetting the Swing Singer and Quartet you also provided. Amazing! Thanks for making it such a special night for us and our guests – you knocked all of our socks off! We will absolutely be recommending you to anyone and everyone and wouldn’t hesitate to book you guys again for any future event that we’re having. You should all be so proud of the overall package you provide as a band – it’s unique and it’s special. THANK YOU for everything. "We hired Blackbeard's Tea Party for ceilidh at our wedding- the groom has been a fan of them for many years, so we were delighted that they offered ceilidh hires. They were the highlight of the day- everyone was so friendly and it was exactly what we wanted. They were very organised and the tunes worked very well for the ceilidh, even if people were beginners. The caller was great and got everybody involved- in fact two of our guests were so impressed they've booked him for their wedding! The band played several sets with the right amount of breaks in between and we enjoyed their performance of some of their tunes in between. Brilliant atmosphere and so much fun- would 100% recommend!"

"Dear Martin and Anna, Joyce and I would like to thank you so very much for the tremendous set you performed for us all on Saturday night; it exceeded all of our expectations! Right from the word go, your professionalism and enthusiasm shone through, with both of you demonstrating superb musicianship combined with the excellent calling skills of Anna who got everyone up on their feet for the whole night! It gave all of us all an amazing evening to remember all our lives and greatly contributed to the success of the wedding as a whole. So thanks again and we will certainly bear you in mind if we have any other events coming up in the future! "
