"After the first few chords the floor was alive with 70's retro cladded party goers. The songs were fantastic, the band musicians excellent! The band appeared to be having as good time as the party goers! Everyone has been talking about how great the party was for weeks…Even the gig die-hards said "what an amazing band". "

"What can I say! We hadn’t heard After Dark live before our party but relied on a recommendation and a YouTube video. Well the band exceeded our expectations. You were so helpful in letting us select a very varied set list. It was great that you were happy to talk to a friend who was also setting up to perform at our party to ensure that there was harmony with the sound systems. The quality of performance and interaction with our friends was just superb and we were so pleased that you had everyone dancing. It made for a perfect evening. "James and his band were absolutely brilliant! Everybody at the party danced the night away and nobody wanted them to end. James was very professional checking noise levels with me and played background music as requested. The playlist was fabulous and mostly what I had agreed with him. The band have a lot of fans in this village now! "

"The Hot Four delivered an amazing set of vintage covers at my event. The singer was wonderful, charming and confident, and the band delivered the tunes with easy, and with some great solos. I highly recommend them for authentic vintage events, but would also please any crowd who may not know the tunes such as festivals, or parties."
