"Incredible band! We booked them for our wedding reception and they were amazing. They really engaged with the crowd and kept us dancing all night, the bassist in particular is amazing, he’s a proper funky guy! Afterwards everyone was talking about how good the musicians were and the vocalist was brilliant. We would definitely recommend them for weddings and parties. "

"Swing is the Thing played at our wedding and were absolutely sensational. Suzanne and all the band contributed to making our wedding absolutely fantastic. The music was perfect and every single guest commented on how brilliant the group was. They adapted to our schedule, had been in touch beforehand to enquire as to whether or not we had any particular requests, and tailored their performance to our evening. From dedicating a special song to the two of us, to performing in a charismatic, lively and thoroughly enthusiastic way, we couldn't have wished for a better band or nicer group of people. We wouldn't hesitate in recommending this band for any event - they were well and truly fabulous and we feel so grateful that they played for our wedding. Even their outfits contributed to creating a fantastic atmosphere! Thank you Swing is the Thing!"

"The Spectrum were, without doubt, the best wedding band and DJ we had ever heard. From the moment we sent the first email, to the tweets the day after the wedding, every interaction with them was great. But on the day itself, the guys were fabulous. They set up with no fuss whatsoever, while we were having dinner, and were completely flexible when our timings overran. The entertainment they provided was awesome – a great mix of music to get everyone dancing, from youngest to oldest. At one point, they even brought their guitars and joined us on the dance floor. They were great fun, they looked like they were having fun – and that makes a huge difference. Their music is super – they are a very talented group of guys – and the DJing was great too. Our wedding was very much a modern day – and the Spectrum ensured that the dancing and evening entertainment was fresh, fun and very modern – but done in a timeless way. Thanks guys – you were a fantastic addition to our amazing day!"

"We had seen Back2Skool perform at two of our friends birthday parties and knew that when Tracy could seamlessly go between singing Elvis to Lizzo they were the band for us! We booked them for my husbands 60th birthday party. Tracy communicated regularly through the build up to the party sharing set lists and ideas as well as learning a few special songs that we wanted. On the day of the party they set up on time and professionally having everything they needed. We danced the night away with three live sets and three DJ sets. It was brilliant and we have had so many messages saying how great the band were and it made the party. All totally seamless from booking to performance! Can’t recommend enough. "

"Mitch is the band contact and he was a pleasure to deal with, answering any questions promptly and thoroughly. And when we had short notice requests these were dealt with straight away. The band have a number of line ups to suit any occasion, we maybe could have gone bigger but we decided on the 5 piece as this suited the size of the venue (Woodstock Weddings, York) and the set lists suited us to the ground. They are also always open to making any slight alterations to their setlist if desired. My short notice request was to add the option for the afternoon acoustic duo and this was accommodated with no issues. The acoustic duo was Mitch and Sarah then the rest of the band arrived in the evening. For both sessions the music was a mixture of all genres and decades and everyone commented on how well they interacted with the whole wedding party. Mitch, Sarah and the rest of the band did an amazing job and I couldn’t recommend them highly enough. If they are on your radar, get them booked. You will not regret it."

"Soul Hop performed at our work Christmas party to a hard crowd but were an absolute hit! Had us all up dancing. Great set list. Great musicians. Amazing singers such great choices and they had lots of smiles for us and had us singing along. "

"The Hot Hats played at my 40th birthday. I cannot recommend them highly enough. Everyone whom attended said how great they were (and my friends and family are not an easy bunch to please). They were extremely engaging with the crowd and overall it was a great set."

"We booked on the note band for my 60th Bday and wow they did not disappoint! Through the arranging stages they kept in contact with us and nearer the time contacted me to confirm all the arrangement's. The band played a variety of songs which was great as my guest's ages were very mixed Thanks again and we will be booking you again!"
