"Thank you Big Smoke Brass for making our wedding so special. We wanted to find a band who did something a bit different, and who could play to a wedding crowd without being too ‘cheesy’. I’m so glad they were able to make our wedding in Wales; they were incredible. From the start, they were flexible about what songs we wanted them to play and were quick to respond - all while being amazing musicians who I’d love to see play all over again. They really judged the mood of the evening and both of their sets were brilliant. Everyone left the evening wanting to know who the band were, how we found them...or wanted to pick up a tuba and start learning. Thank you, thank you! "

"I would just like to thank you all for playing at Louisa and Martin's wedding reception last Friday. The music was great and everyone thoroughly enjoyed dancing. I felt you had the right balance of ceilidh and disco music. Like all good events it all passed too quickly! We will certainly be recommending you too anyone looking for a ceilidh band in the future. Extra thanks to the fiddle player (Aaron?) for being at two places in the one day!!"

"Arkleston piping are excellent! We booked with them very last minute as our piper took ill. Steven Blake piped at our wedding and went above and beyond. He learned and played a tune written for my Grandpa - it was a wonderful tribute. He was extremely professional. I would highly recommend booking through them - you will not be disappointed!"

"Robbie was amazing as our wedding pianist! He was wonderful to work with and learned two new songs for us to walk down the isle too. He was also so helpful with planning and gave input into our ceremony script for it to flow well with his playing and offered to help with anything we needed as we were coming from overseas. Our guests the day of were also highly complimentary and his music really set the vibe for the guests the day of! Can't recommend him enough!!"

"Steve was booked for my birthday party not only was he super friendly to a very mixed crowd he wowed us all with a brilliant performance subcontract from the 60s through to today's hits. Even took requests! All with such character and charm and of course a great voice. Will definitely be booking Steve for the next big event we do. "

"St Patrick's night at the Old Fire House Exeter was electric last night. The Extonions were well on form and had the place buzzing. Mac on his green electric fiddle raced away with jigs getting faster and faster, I'm surprised his fiddle didn't catch fire. Mike sang in his sexy Hank Marvin deep gravel voice with a lovely Irish twang. That got the ladies swooning. John swapped with ease from 6 to 12 string guitar and kept up a driving beat together with fingers flying over the strings to create a magical sound. James maintained the foundation of the band with solid bass. The place was so packed it was like how many people can you get in a telephone box, they just kept pouring in. There must have been hundreds at the gig. Feedback said it was the best St Patrick's venue in Exeter that night and greatly down to The Extonions. I highly recommend you don't miss their next gig."

So sorry for this late reply but we have been busy. We loved playing there although mature talented experienced musicians the younger audience went wild and like you said thought it was the best St Patrick's Night Exeter in Exeter. Mac 🙂 🎨 🎻

"We booked W!RED for a Gatsby themed party. They were excellent. They learned a whole set of Post Modern Jukebox to match the theme of the event. The whole team fully delivered and event dressed in 1920's Gatsby costumes. The energy and audience interaction was exceptional as to was the support and interaction leading up to the event. I would not hesitate to recommend the band and we will be booking them again next year"
