Review Centre: Saxophonists

"We had a small party with about 45 family and friends in an intimate Sheffield venue last weekend (November 2024) and Max provided the music and songs for us. All I can say is Max, you are a supremely talented young man. Your multi instrumental versions of classic new and old chart hits kept us entertained all evening and had us all up dancing and having a great time. You catered for our entire age range from the mid 20-something year olds through to those of us more familiar with partying back in the 1980s and 1990s and we all enjoyed it immensely. Topping it all off with a couple of Christmas chart smashes at the end was a really great finish which everyone loved. Thank you for a fantastic evening Max, you are a legend !!! Thank you also to Sarah-Jane and all of the Team at Last Minute Musicians, not only for securing our booking with Max, but for your impeccable service. You kept us fully informed throughout the process and made sure everything was just how we wanted it to be, all culminating in a great evenings entertainment. Thank you to you all !!"

"Kit was a wonderful addition to the boat cruise I organised for my friends hen do, his sophisticated attire and flexible style (upper deck/lower deck/upper deck again!) made him a pleasure to work with and the classics he sang and played made the whole afternoon a real delight, thank you Kit!!"

"Sue played at my daughters wedding on Fri 3rd July at Newland Hall in Chelmsford and helped make the day very special. Sue played all the songs that the bride and groom requested and even learnt a new one that they asked for and she absolutely smashed it! She set up and cleared away with no fuss and lots of people commented on how great she was. Very nice lady also so I would not hesitate to recommend Sue for anybody wanting a saxophone player at their function. Thanks Sue!"

"We booked David for our wedding in July 2025 and were so happy that we did. He played in between the ceremony and wedding breakfast and was amazing! The guest all loved the music he played. David also played us into our wedding breakfast and it was one of the highlights of the day! Got all the guests up on their feet and brought such a nice vibe to the day. Would definitely recommend David to anyone considering a saxophone player."

"Jan was absolutely amazing at our wedding. The communication and professionalism beforehand was fantastic. He even let me pick all our favourite songs for the set lists and gave me advice on which would work best for the 2 sets he did for us and everyone absolutely loved it! All or guests commented how amazing the sax was and we couldn't of been happier with his performance. He also took a special request which he learned for us for our big day! Would 100% recommend him. Lovely guy!"

"Dan was incredible, such a talented saxophonist! During the day he played a variety of genres which we had agreed on, everyone commented on how good the music was and how nice it was to have a great live musician. Also making our grand entrances really special! And then in the evening Dan and his team did an incredible job in creating the best wedding party we could imagine, reading the room and knowing exactly what music to play. Having Dan play live along to the tracks on the dance floor was awesome, making it not just a standard wedding DJ set, but a whole experience! Thanks so much Dan, you created a brilliant atmosphere. "Classic Sax played for my 30th birthday and was fantastic. He made the whole process easy from start to finish, I asked if it was possible to learn a few extra songs to an already wide collection he had passed over and he did them with no problem. Highlight of the evening!"

"We had Dave play at our wedding back in 2017 and he was absolutely amazing. Nothing is ever a problem and every song choice Dave had it in the bag. We really wanted a Ibiza theme for the Sax and he was more than happy to check out and play along with the dance tunes we wanted. Our guests loved him!! On Saturday I booked him again for my 30th birthday party. He played most of the night along to every song. He really got the party started and I have had constant feedback since on how amazing he was. Best Sax player in town. Thank you so much."
