"Vitula really made our day extra special. Hearing them practise and the venue filled with music whilst getting ready was a magical moment for me, and I know my husband loved listening to them whilst waiting at the top of the aisle. All the guests raved about how amazing they sounded! The quartet were amazing, nothing was too much trouble, and they were wonderfully flexible in the face of uncertain weather conditions. Nick in particular has been unbelievably helpful through the planning of our day and even after! I really can’t say enough kind words about them and would recommend them wholly to anyone. They will make your day feel so special. "

"Best band ever! If any couples out there are looking for a live band just stop now and book The Spectrum. They absolutely MADE our wedding reception and we all had the BEST time. James is MEGA helpful and communicating was easy and fast. He also liaised so well with our venue and other suppliers to make everything so easy! They nailed our first dance and within seconds our dance floor was full. We do have a party crowd of friends and they were all saying they were the BEST band they'd seen at a wedding....WOW! They were everything we wanted and more......thanks guys for ROCKING IT!!! XXX"

"A real professional, from the first time I reached out to DJ Karl Joseph he was enthusiastic, engaging and down to earth. DJ Karl Joseph chose songs from our playlist to suit the mood and played some of the most important tracks for our family and friends. He worked well with our band organising and making the night. His photos and videos were the cherry on top! Thank you DJ Karl Joseph we were so happy we booked you for our wedding! We hope you will be able to join us for future events! Lots of love! "

"Thank you, guys, for finding time beforehand to rehearse with Amy, the bridegroom’s sister, who sang Elton John’s “Your Song” for the bride and groom’s 1st dance. It was beautiful and very special to have her sing their first song with accompaniment from the band. I think everyone was very moved by it (we are hoping someone filmed it but are not sure!). The dance floor was packed all evening for the ceilidh and we all had great fun - which was the intention. It was an amazing day, evening and whole weekend - we carried on the celebrations on Sunday! Thank you to Black Velvet Band for helping to make the wedding so memorable. "

"Gordon performed at our wedding for us and was fantastic. His singing was lovely and we felt it made our first dance that little more special than having it played from the soundtrack. We had guests up dancing (specifically my little neice who said it was her favourite part of the day), and as the night progressed, the theme of music changed into a little heavy rock. Gordon was more than happy to accommodate this. Thankyou for being a part of the most amazing day of our lives Gordon. We would certainly recommend you to others! "

"Anne Marie was lovely and really accommodating for our requirements. She was a little apprehensive that her repertoire we had requested was not suitable for the audience. I was convinced that her concerns weren't necessary and when she began I knew I was right. She was also concerned her vocals were not as strong as they could have been because of a previous temporary condition. But again she was excellent. She was just what we thought we wanted and didn't disappoint."

"Rejigged were hired to play at my 50th birthday party. After reading many positive reviews from their website, I was really looking forward to an entertaining evening of music, dance and laughter with my friends and family. They didn’t disappoint! Chris liaised on behalf of the band and kept regular contact, before the event, ensuring he knew exactly how I wanted the evening to pan out. Booking and payment was simple and advice offered to maximise the success of the evening. We had booked the 5 piece Cailidh band, including the caller. The musicians were highly skilled professionals and their choice of music was perfect for the evening. The caller was entertaining and very patient with us dancers, who joined in enthusiastically, if not skilfully! (Let’s face it, going wrong in the dance is half of the fun!) The band played non-stop for one and a half hours, stopped for half an hour for refreshments and then continued for a further hour. It was wonderful to see the enjoyment on everyone’s faces and the atmosphere was full of fun and laughter. The band really made my special birthday an event to remember: they were excellent! If a Ceilidh band is something you’re looking for, don’t hesitate to book Rejigged; you won’t be disappointed, I promise. K.Barker "
