"Booking EM Strings was a dream fulfilled as I always wanted a live instrument band playing on my wedding. It was surreal walking in to my favourite song playing from my childhood favourite film that is a classic Bollywood love story. The guest thoroughly enjoyed listening to them during the canapés and it set the tone of the wedding day so perfectly! I would definitely recommend to anyone thinking of booking for their special day. The variety of songs that they play means there’s something for everyone to enjoy."

"Modern Strings did a fantastic job at our wedding. I asked for a string trio. They followed my instructions to the letter and were very cooperative during the event and in the run up to it. They brilliantly played additional pieces of music that were not on their repertoire. They also beautifully played a mixture of classical and popular songs. All guests commented how well they played and what a fantastic idea it was to have a live trio at our wedding. The trio were smiley and extremely friendly and reliable on our wedding day. I would recommend their services to my best of friends and family and would employ their services again should I have another event. Very well done and thank you for making our special day even more special. "

"Adam was totally professional in his preparation , and performance. He turned up in time to set up his equipment and discuss the music to be presented. A really friendly and likeable musician who we would heartily recommend. Thanks to all concerned in arranging this. We had a perfect anniversary party and the quality of the music was enjoyed by all."

"Dear Anne, We had a truly fabulous day & i think everyone enjoyed it. We thoroughly enjoyed the string quartet & lots of people commented on how good it was. overall we were thrilled with everything . Hope the quartet  were all fed & watered appropriately , as it was an informal day Bernie & I may of forgotten a few things & got carried away with all the excitement !! "We hired Danny to play our private party. We had loved what we heard from his profile, but nothing prepared us for how exceptional he was on the day. Professional, friendly and very understanding in the face of some fairly strange antics going on from some of the guests (we were all dressed as prawns). To top it all off, when we were quoting Fry & Laurie sketches after he'd finished, he joined in with us. I'd be tempted to adopt him if I didn't already have three kids of my own. What an amazing guitarist, singer and all round entertainer. Thanks Danny!"

"We know it's now been ages since the big day, but we wanted to drop you an email to say thank you for all your help in the lead up to 6th June. And also to everyone in the band, who were just amazing on the day. Everyone said what a fabulous band you were and we completely agree. We loved the interaction, especially with the kids (who adored you guys) and just the fabulous atmosphere on the dance floor."
