"Just a quick note to say thank you so much for making our wedding dancefloor the absolute party that it was! We spent quite a bit of time making sure we found the right band for our wedding day and now, in hindsight shouldn't have looked around! You guys were really fantastic. From playing our first dance live (and making me cry...thanks!) and keeping the floor packed all night, to full on dance-offs, we can't thank you enough. "Black Velvet Band Ceilidh Trio – David and Catherine’s Wedding – September 2025 Thank you for making our wedding day so special! The music was brilliant and I am so grateful that The Archers theme and 500 Miles were worked into the set. Two days later, my legs still ache from dancing."

"I cannot speak highly enough of Richard and his ability to entertain. He visited us today at our activity centre, the Therapeutic Support Service in Bryn Y Neuadd Hospital and played for our patients who were absolutely delighted! So colourful and cheerful, our patients were absolutely blown away (excuse the pun)! I would heartily recommend Richard for any of your events where a dignified, professional, friendly and skilled entertainer is required. He was really wonderful and we were so glad to see him....and of course, what a sound!"

"Louise played at our wedding in June 2018. We had an initial meeting with her in advance and we knew from listening to her play that she would be fantastic on our wedding day. Louise played the harp during our church ceremony - she was incredible and it really was magical. It created a beautiful atmosphere. She also played the piano at our drinks reception. We had a good mix of music which was amazing. We received so many compliments about Louise's playing and how brilliant she was. She is such a talented musician - both on the harp and piano. Definitely a must have performer at you wedding!"

"What a wonderful addition to any event! Party Club Brass brings a feel-good vibe along with their instruments. Our company hired them for our centenary celebrations and they were the perfect way to lift the mood and make people feel relaxed. They were brilliant to work with and the whole process was effortless. Would recommend."

"What a fantastic day! Getting the right music is one of the most important factors when planning an event so we were so lucky to be able to hire Kit for our golden wedding tea party. There were songs to suit everyone’s taste and who doesn’t like to hear a good saxophonist on a lovely sunny afternoon! Nothing but compliments and happy faces and would definitely like to use Kit again."

From the very first note to the last song, they brought an incredible energy that kept everyone on their feet. "First of all we would like to say how impressed and moved we all were by Andrew and Philip's performance yesterday. Andrews voice is truly amazing and my Mum would have loved it. During the wake everyone was saying how wonderful it was and that no one really knew if it was correct or appropriate to clap. Please tell him that everyone wishes they had and wanted to! "First time having Blue Jewel (have had other ceilidh's in the past) and have to say Steve and the band were brilliant, so much so thinking what excuse for a party we can make so we can have them again! Thank you for a fantastic night, will definitely recommend "
