"Vicki helped to make our wedding such a special occasion. She was willing to learn our special requests, and played them beautifully, and she was also amazing at supporting our friend to sing a special song for us. Utterly professional, with brilliant communication, she was there early on the day and ensured a calm and joyful beginning to our ceremony, and she had a lovely warm presence throughout, performing beautifully and with great respect for the occasion. As the bride, I really wish I’d been able to hear more of her performance! Delighted to recommend her to any other couples getting married in the future!"

"Black Velvet Band Ceilidh Trio – Judy and Jenny’s 80th Birthday Party – February 2026 We found Black Velvet friendly, professional and very talented musicians. Communication ahead of time was prompt and helpful, and on the day they arrived on time and set up discreetly. The music was enjoyed by everyone, a room full of smiles and laughter. Just what we wanted. Thank you for making our 80th birthday celebration so memorable. Would heartily recommend."

"Well what can we say! Blu Band were absolutely fantastic arrived on time with equipment set up ready for the evening. They sang lots of different songs from old to new keeping the ears of our guests entertained ready for more. was absolutely amazing such a talented band would love to have them at another event. The only down side was that the evening seemed to go to fast but as the saying goes time flys when your having fun. Would so love to see them again in the future absolutely fantastic performance what an amazing band."

"I am an event organiser with over 12 years of experience and never have I heard a voice like this! I genuinely don't understand how she is not famous! With very little notice she stepped in and covered my grans party, she offered to learn new songs and jig her set around to suit us! Now that is RARE! So customer service is amazing high!! We were having dessert when out of her mouth came this beautiful sound, the notes she reached so effortlessly and quietly were mesmerising! We wanted a little background ambience to start our 007 themed party so she sang the bond theme songs she leant for us starting with adelle skyfall! Not one note was missed and what's more she turned this incredibly powerful dramatic opener into the most gentle, harmonious tune! She sang each word with no effort at all and so very softly and yet heald the eyes of every single person in that room! When she came out to do her first spot that was that- the casino tables were empty as was the bar believe it or not!! She blasted out some incredible songs within the genres we asked for and we had to get the compare to remind ans make people use the casino tables and photo booth! This is one contact I am keeping close! I seriously can not recommend her enough!! I looked at her fb page and there were little to no videos or photos of her performing so I was worried but I had no need to be! Happy to answer any questions on her x thank you cherry bomb, can't wait to book you again!"

I still cannot believe you were able to get so many people up dancing. Your performance was outstanding from start to finish and is the main reason this event will be talked about for years to come. On the day Rebecca played beautifully , I just wish I’d had more time to listen to her play! All the guest have commented that her music was magical, and complemented our ceremony and reception drinks to make our wedding extra special! Thank you ☺️"

"I saw Robert performing at a local open mic and later at our pub – he creates such a relaxed atmosphere and clearly loves what he does. Great selection of classic tunes and really connects with the crowd."

"Ellie’s performance made our wedding day unforgettable. She played live violin during our ceremony and later performed throughout the reception, bringing elegance and energy to every moment. We requested five specific songs, and Ellie performed them flawlessly! The live music during our first dance and the toasts was magical, and she also curated a playlist that kept the vibe going during the breaks. It was the perfect mix of live music and seamless flow."

"Lizz, Most plans collapse in the fog of war. Yours clearly didn't. You were absolutely superb throughout. The Repertoire was spot on and your judgement and timing were on the ball. You struck the right note, in the right key at the right time, everytime and succeeded in lending enormous tone and presence to the day.
