"This was a very short notice booking for my wifes 50th birthday surprise party and Becky was very responsive and took the booking and stayed in touch to confirm what we would like. Becky and her colleague - playing electric guitar - also overcame significant travel chaos due to train strike to make the do on time. They played a nice little set of covers - though with good arranging to suit the venue and clientel. The party was in a moderate sized front room and they coped well with this and level of amplification was just right. Everybody enjoyed the set and collectively we would give a solid 8 out of 10. "The whole experience has been amazing! From enquiring, to booking, to the actual day - just fantastic. It definitely took some wedding stress away. Double or Nothing were absolutely fantastic - they were totally different to any wedding band I have seen. Many of the guests commented on how wonderful they were. Tom stayed on to DJ for us and he was awesome! He played exactly the kind of music we wanted and took requests from our guests. The communication from Sarah and Tom was nothing short of outstanding! I have recommended the company and Double or Nothing to lots of people already. Thank you for helping us make our day special!"

"What a star Dan was throughout the whole process. So flexible, helpful and extremely responsive. It my first experience of booking a musician like this and the whole process has been great, with communication from Encore along the way too. "I’ve been Mrs Donnelly for 2 weeks now and I’m still smiling from how lovely our wedding was which is mainly thanks to you and your band mates. Our family and friends and still talking about the day and how great the BM Ceilidh Band was. The atmosphere you created was just what we wanted and you were wonderful when the singer didn’t turn up. We can’t thank you enough."

"The Backbeats are a sensational 60's covers band, recreating a unique Sixties vibe that is not outdated but sounds fresh and contemporary and suitable for all ages. At our party the guests,both young and older, danced all evening to every song,in fact,the night wasn't long enough."
