"My heartfelt thanks go out to Jack for making my husbands surprise party even more special. He sang a mix of songs from a playlist that I chose, from Sinatra to Oasis. Some with a backing track and some acoustic (He is a great guitar player), all were brilliant. Jack has an amazing voice and I wouldn’t hesitate in recommending him to sing at any special occasion. "

You obviously work very hard at what you do because it shows in your performance. Everyone present commented on what a good band you are. "We had a fantastic day and a huge part of it was down to 10x! Everyone has been raving about you and we've lost count of how many friends and family have described you guys as 'the best wedding band ever' (it’s still happening 3 weeks later!)! The music was absolutely brilliant and everyone had such a fantastic time and you had everyone dancing all night which I don’t think I have ever seen before - and all generations too which was lovely to see. It goes without saying that if we’re ever asked for any wedding recommendations you will be top of the list!"

"Overdrive were amazing from the start to the finish, worked around our requirements, collaborated together on playlists and even mixed 2 songs together to be used as our first dance. Could not recommend them higher and every guest at our wedding absolutely loved their performance!"

"The BV's were just perfect for our YMCA Narnia Charity Ball. Our guests were from every generation and all loved it. Fantastic to see everyone up dancing and having such fun. We will certainly be booking BV's for our next event."

"Black Velvet Band Ceilidh Trio / 08/04/2023 / Ceilidh for Eastercon 2023 (Sci Fi enthusiast's convention) We had a fun-filled, joyous ceilidh, thanks to the amazing, talented Black Velvet Band.The band members are great fun. Alan had us laughing so much with his warmth and humour when calling the dances. The booking process was straightforward and professional. When I talked on the phone to Mike in advance, I was assured that these guys knew their stuff. When I requested non-gendered calling, that was no problem. The band are very versatile - they added a little Star Trek and Dr Who music, seamlessly, into the ceilidh tunes, to give us an extra-special thrill! "Wow. Thank you to the Tzigauners for being part of our wonderful wedding. The band were excellent and we received many compliments throughout the day on their quality. I would also note that Tom was very responsive on email during the booking process and the band arrived in plentiful time on the day to ensure that they were ready to go when asked. "Nia came in to sing at our offices for our works Christmas get together. She was amazing. She sung some Christmas songs and some more lively songs to get people dancing. Everything was great, from booking, to organising times to set up – it all went with ease. Cant wait to hear her again!"
