"Just wanted to thank you and the Tri Tones for playing at my daughter's wedding. Your music accompanying her day reception of fizz and cake was perfect! Many of our guests commented how much they enjoyed listening to the band as we relaxed and chatted in the sunshine. Thank you for speaking with me beforehand. You listened to what we wanted and delivered it with skill and aplomb! I hoped we were in safe hands but it was great that you were thoroughly professional in your approach, arriving early and playing in 30-degree heat without complaint! We would have no hesitation in recommending the Tri Tones to anyone!"

"I was looking for music for my 50th party which was at a venue with a terrace and, being June, we expected the weather to mean guests were in and out. We wanted people to dance but we’re not sure a full band or DJ would work well in the venue. I saw Tim on Instagram and he seems ideal. He was a pleasure to deal with and on the bight turned up on queue sorted himself out the ideal location and got going. He’s a great guitarist and singer with a very wide ranging set list. What worked really well is how he adapted the music to the evening as it developed - it naturally eased people into coming inside over the first half of the set and had everyone dancing and really enjoying themselves by the end. One of our friends is a great singer and he was really great and sorting out a mike and appropriate song for her which was a great way to end the evening. He’s a really nice guy who is extremely easy to deal with, his music is top notch and I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend him!"

"I would say finding a wedding band was one of the hardest parts of planning our wedding, I found Amplified and booked instantly, I can honestly say that it was one of our best decisions on the wedding day. The band are amazing, the dance floor was always full and the band were on the dance floor with all our guests. We have received so many great reviews from our guests! Requests were taken on the night and “one last song” went on for a few more songs! THANK YOU!! "

"Thank you so much for getting everything arranged so smoothly for our wedding knees-up last week. Having the band available to play both acoustic and electric sets was fantastic for breaking up the evening and we had so many compliments from guests about how great they were. The guys were so professional and easy to work with, setting up in good time and staying with us right until the end of the night – they certainly put in an impressive shift! I should mention how special it was that the band learnt a track to play for our first dance and we appreciate that they really went the extra mile. Given that the dancefloor was full for so much of the evening our other guests clearly enjoyed themselves too!"

"John was such a fab addition to our wedding. We thought it would be something a little different for our guests and they absolutely raved about him afterwards. The music John played made it sound like we were wandering the streets of Paris and added a real element of romanticism to our day. It was incredibly hot, yet John continued to play effortlessly. His communication prior to the wedding was really great and instilled a real degree of confidence in us. Thank you John for your lovely addition to our day - a very talented man."

"We were absolutely thrilled to have J G perform at our celebration – he was fantastic from start to finish. As a singer and guitarist, he brought such a vibrant energy to the event, and his talent really shone through. J G didn’t just perform – he got everyone involved. From singalongs to spontaneous dancing, he created such a fun and inclusive atmosphere that guests are still talking about it! One friend even described the party as the “Glastonbury of Eastbourne” – and Jo was a huge part of that magic. Professional, engaging, and incredibly talented – we couldn’t recommend him more highly. "Wow! How wonderful are you two! We had an amazing day, topped off with an amazing evening and have received such positive feedback from our family and friends that we are absolutely basking in your glory!! Chatting to you, Jackie, on the phone long beforehand to explain who we are and what we hoped for was very important, and you were so easy to talk to. Your play list was great and the couple of items we rejected were taken out of the list without any issues. You opened with a song of our choice for our first dance, even though it was not on your playlist, and you graciously invited others on to the dance floor as the song progressed, in response to our request to steer the spotlight away from us. You listened to us and understood. You seemed to have people on the dance floor from the first song to the last. I don't think I've ever been to an event where that has happened. You had four and six year olds dancing and playing with the lights on the floor; you had friends who prefer a slow dance smooching to a number of songs; you had a large number of people following your "dance" moves; you had many people singing along; and we have received comments from the non dancers that your music wasn't too loud, so they could carry on conversations while others danced. And, amazingly (given that we had told you we were a bit stuck in the 70s) you had the teenagers up and dancing and having a really great time. We had a number of discerning musicians among our guests and without exception they thought you were a great band. You arrived to set up just as we were starting to eat yet there was no disruption. Thankyou for lending us your microphone for the speeches. You are a very talented couple and we are so pleased that you were able to entertain us and our wedding guests. Thankyou again. Judith"
