"The Quartet was FANTASTIC! They really knew what and when to play, they performed our chosen songs perfectly with great timing. And overall it was amazing and our guests loved them!"

"WOW!!! I don’t think I can even put into words how incredible these guys are, they performed as a gospel choir at our wedding ceremony at a large church and they kept our guests entertained before I arrived, lead our hymns and performed during the signing of the register. They then came to our venue and performed as a band with more upbeat classic songs. They were incredible, made our wedding extra special. They are all extremely talented and have the most incredibly beautiful big voices. Their big bubbly personalities suited our guests perfectly. It was PERFECT!"

"High Five the band were brilliant and really got the party going!!! They also sang the first dance which was beautiful. They went with the flow as the time schedule had gone out the window by then but completed their set. The range of music they played was fabulous and covered a range of ages."

"What can I say? The Tribe ROCKED our wedding on Sat! They were absolutely brilliant and made the party so much fun. I hope they enjoyed it too. We had a magical day and it was such a fun wedding. So a huge thank you to you and the guys for everything. Two great friends of mine, Catherine and Dom, get married in April next year and are desperate to have the same band as they thought they were so fab. "They were a huge highlight to our wedding day last weekend. Everyone all night asked us how we found Straight Up and nothing was too much trouble for them! They learnt our first dance song beautifully and were just so lovely to work with. Would 100% book these guys again, thankyou!!! "

"What a band! Thank you so much Karen and team for your professionalism and superb performance. We loved dancing to your great range of material with slick song transitions and epic belters - Proud Mary was just too good! So glad we opted for the full 8-piece lineup, having that extra touch of brass made it for us. Hope we can party with you again soon!"

"Wow! What can we say?! Thank you, thank you, thank you! You guys are phenomenal! The Jazz duo during the meal - amazing. I’m so pleased you offered this to us as it was so special and just added a certain ‘something’! I know the table closest to the Duo were in their element! Then the evening! Oh my goodness you all are incredible! Thank you for the atmosphere that you created, it was so fun! Very hot and a bit sweaty, but so fun! We won’t hesitate to recommend you and are trying to find every occasion to have you to play again! Thank you from the bottom of our hearts"

"We thought Down for the Count did an outstanding job and so did all of our friends and family. Everyone could not stop raving about how great the music was. Honestly, we wouldn't have changed a thing and were so impressed. Most of all, it was so special to hear New York, New York as a closing song and we really appreciate your initiative to create those extra special touches for us! Without a doubt, we would recommend Down for the Count to any other friends getting married."

"Please thank the band for making the evening amazing, being professional and well organized. The full band including the brass created a full complete sound which many of my guests commented on. The dance floor was filled! I have spent the last week receiving compliments saying how good the band was and how did I find you!"
