Review Centre: Christmas Bands

"You all play such great swing music, real foot-tapping and memorable numbers, putting it over in fine style with much good humour, which comes over very well to an audience. There is so much talent from you all with a switch so easily from instrument to instrument its fantastic. Also some terrific singing and to have four vocalists on the night as well was a bonus. Simone is as splendid as ever and a delight to listen to, with some great numbers too from that next door 'lad' in voice and on the sax. I was also impressed with some good horn blowing whilst playing the piano at the same time! Quite a feat and impressed many of my friends who watched in admiration! But thanks to you all for giving us all an enjoyable and memorable night."

"WOW!!! I don’t think I can even put into words how incredible these guys are, they performed as a gospel choir at our wedding ceremony at a large church and they kept our guests entertained before I arrived, lead our hymns and performed during the signing of the register. They then came to our venue and performed as a band with more upbeat classic songs. They were incredible, made our wedding extra special. They are all extremely talented and have the most incredibly beautiful big voices. Their big bubbly personalities suited our guests perfectly. It was PERFECT!"

"What can we say. Faultless, amazing, professional, exciting. From the moment we met you for coffee last year we knew all was going to be great. You were as excited as Gerald and I as we discussed Amy and Pauls ideas. Of course once we saw you and the team perform at the showcase event we were even more convinced because you could provide all the different kinds of music we were wanting for the wedding. Such a variety, each section adding another twist, each one a talking point. Sera, when you sang during the ceremony, both Gerald and I had tears in our eyes, your most beautiful voice, unforgettable, one of the highlights of the whole day for us. "Wow Wow Wow. I cannot put into words how amazing our evening was at Tortworth. You gals were absolutely fantastic. A million times better than we could ever have imagined. EVERYONE loved you - even my 82 year old father used the word fantastic (this word has never come out of his mouth before!)... And everyone on the dance floor all evening was just excellent - all age groups. Your act is just great. The outfits, the band, the lighting, and your act - absolute perfection. And you are just lovely people to boot! What an amazing time. Our only regret? That no one videoed you! We want to replay and replay and replay..... Consider yourselves booked for our next UK bash."

"We booked Absolute Company because I really liked their voices on the demo youtube videos, and as a lot of our friends are professional musicians, wanted to have a band with powerful voices. We were so happy with our choice! The band sounded brilliant, and really got people on the dance floor. The songs in their repertoire were really appropriate, and, most importantly, they sounded and looked great. The other good thing about the band was how easy they were to communicate with and how responsive they were. Our every interaction with them was super professional. We were so happy with our choice. Absolute Company really are an awesome wedding band!"

"Unwritten Duo performed at our wedding at The Granary Wedding Barn in March, she showed up smartly dressed and on time. She was booked to sing our first dance song and perform for 45 mintutes afterwards before the DJ took over. She sang Loving You by Minnie Riperton while we shared our first dance and it sounded absolutely incredible. She has such a stunning voice, so much better than we expected. We were all mesmerised by her throughout and thoroughly enjoyed her set. I wasn't sure what songs to pick but she chose a nice variety of tracks which everyone enjoyed. She sang for over an hour because we enjoyed it so much but she didn't mind at all and didn't try to charge any extra. Several friends of mine have booked her for their upcoming weddings/parties too. I highly recommend Joanne, she is Superb artist!"
