"The band were great and I would book them again without hesitation. They managed to juggle the music preferences of the guest and reacting to the audience perfectly. Including some group dancing was genius and one of my favourite parts of the night. It was a great way for guests to interact and encourage some mixing and mingling. Professional set up. Loved it. "Groove Time were excellent! In the build up to the event Matt was in touch regularly to make sure everything was going according to plan, and was easily contactable if needed. On the night they adjusted their set list to suit the party theme that we had which was very much appreciated. Once Groove Time started playing the dance floor was full until they finished. Everybody loved them! Brilliant band who contributed so much to make party the success that it was!"

"We had these guys for my daughter’s 18th birthday party in the garden. They were brilliant. Friendly, enthusiastic, very talented and played a wide variety of music that had all ages dancing - we wouldn’t hesitate to recommend them and would love to use them again - book them quickly, they’re going to be very popular!"

"What a lovely bunch of chaps. We were worried when we were told that frontman Jeremy had been taken ill a few days before our wedding day. But thankfully Sam stepped in to save the day. All band members arrived on time, were super friendly and chatty, and put on a terrific show despite the frankly insane 30 degree heat of our wedding day. Sam even took the time to quickly learn a very special, unusual request that we'd asked the band to play, and he totally pulled it out of the bag. Thank you so much for trekking all the way to Surrey to play for us. "

"Jamboree James was amazing! Highly highly recommend, he learnt and performed our first dance music at short notice. Took on board all of our requests. We had a very small wedding of 25 including children so by the time the evening came there were less than 20 of us. I worried that the vibe would be off with such a small crowd but James brought the good vibes and we danced all night. He even played through his break as we were all having such a good time. Thoroughly recommend. Thanks for making our wedding evening so fun! "

"Highly recommend the band for any events! The Pretty Ugly were: ➡️ very helpful during the planning of the event ➡️ super punctual ➡️ prompt and prepared ➡️ friendly and communicative ➡️ covered a wide range of commercial music, from their own songs to cover musics ➡️ practiced and played a couple of musics picked by us ➡️ have a great presence on stage Would definitely rehire them for another event! "

"James played at our wedding reception on the 22nd August 2023, he was absolutely incredible from start to finish! Everyone at the reception kept telling us how much they enjoyed his performance and how amazing he was. James was an absolutely perfect fit for our event, all the kids also enjoyed dancing along to the music, it was nice to see everyone enjoying the music and the atmosphere James created. We would very highly recommend booking James for any event you are planning, his voice is incredible and he is a genuinely lovely person."

"Had the pleasure of DJ’ing alongside these gents last night at a wedding ceremony. As a city fan, I’ll always love Take me home and it was great to hear it live, but these gents are incredibly talented. As a fellow musician I appreciate your twang, style and interpretation of each cover, not to mention the overall performance. Blown away - just simply fantastic and that’s rare for me to say. The use of a megaphone, genius! 👏. It wasn’t even my booking and I’d recommend these! Thank you for making the night!"
