"Billy recently played at my mothers funeral. The communication beforehand and liaison with myself, the funeral director and our celebrant were all about getting in right on the day. It couldn’t have been more right, a choice of kilt, tunes and positioning all thought about and delivered to perfection. I should also say that his playing of the pipes is to an exceptionally good level, faultless. I can say no more than to highly recommend Billy, absolutely 1st class, stunning service. "We had the privilege of having Tim play at our wedding and Tim was AMAZING! I would recommend Tim in a heartbeat, not only is he a great musician, he is a great person. Tim was very welcoming to requests and played for all ages. Tim created such a relaxed atmosphere for everyone at our wedding and we would like to say a massive thank you! "I was given the responsibility of choosing the entertainment for our wedding and I knew I had found the right group when I came across Detroit Deluxe. Their repertoire of songs stood out from the others as they cover multiple genres without all the modern cliché covers. The vocalists were outstanding and spent time with us chatting after the 2 sets which was a really nice moment. I have had several guests ask me for their details after the wedding. They were outstanding professionals and had people on the dance floor all evening. They suggested us a set list and we changed a few of the tracks with no issue. Their cover of our chosen track by Ben Howard was exceptional and still gives me goosebumps when I listen back to it now. Thanks so much to the band and say no more I would of course recommend them. They truly made our day. "

"The band were fabulous. Really happy that we booked them. They were able to play our requested first dance My Girl and followed with So Happy Together which the children wanted. They played varied music and everyone had a great night, thank you "
