"I just wanted to say a massive thank you for playing at our wedding on Saturday. Everyone has commented and said how wonderful you were and it really set a lovely feel to the day. Just wish we could do it all over again!! Hopefully I’ll see you again at other weddings in the future."

"Love Guitar aka Rob Shaw recently played at a pre lunch reception for 40 guests in Manchester’s ‘Restaurant MCR’ before we celebrated a birthday lunch. He impressed to say the least. He arrived early, set up his equipment and did his sound check long before guests began to arrive. He is a talented musician and added a lot of atmosphere to the start of the lunch, his music choices were spot on for what was a very happy occasion, discreet volume but a definite presence. He was smart, happy and we would definitely invite him to play at future functions”"

"Andy was the most natural showman we've had in our club in 20 New Years. I can't speak too highly of him. A brilliant and engaging act, he had even the most curmudgeonly of stalwarts shaking their things before midnight. We can't wait to have him back here. A rare and genuine talent. Book him while you can! ."

"Aidan was fab! He listened to what kind of music I wanted for the 2 sets he did and he really delivered. He was very accommodating, kind and really involved himself with the guests which I loved! Would highly recommend him for your party!! "

"We booked these guys for our wedding. The set list was great and they got the party going. They also leant 2 songs that were special to us, but weren’t part of their repertoire. We can’t thank them enough for their part in our special day!"

"Booked David to sing at my wedding evening reception which was only yesterday 12/03/2022.What can I say but wow ! Such a lovely friendly guy so very professional with an amazing voice.All our guests loved him and he really made our evening getting everyone singing and dancing If you have an event coming up I fully recommend this guy you won't be disappointed! "Hi Chris, What can I say? You guys were amazing. Your music was one of the most talked about parts of the night. Everyone loved listening to you, and the atmosphere you created was incredible. We only wish we’d had more of a chance to dance while you were playing, as the evening flew by so quickly. Thank you as well for making everything so easy from a communication and planning perspective throughout. We really appreciated it. And a special thank you for backing our friends for “My Girl” at such short notice. It ended up feeling incredibly special and personal for the father/daughter dance, and we’re very grateful for how you all made it come together. It was such a memorable evening for us. "Black Velvet Band Ceilidh Trio – International Student’s Ceilidh – July 2025 This is the second time we have booked the Black Velvet Band for our summer ceilidh, and it was such fun! The band ran two different dancing sessions for our international students and were very patient with explaining the dances and encouraging all students to participate. The music was brilliant and energetic, and all three band members were so kind and even paused for a photoshoot with the students. We are looking forward to next summer already. I’d absolutely recommend them for any event/party/celebration!"
