"On behalf of myself and the bride and groom, I wanted to thank the band for providing such fantastic music during the dinner service and for being so flexible with timings. The whole band were a pleasure to work with, extremely polite, helpful and not to mention very talented! It was wonderful to see people up and dancing before the dinner started and the style of music was completely in keeping with the Wedding theme. It would be a pleasure to work with you again."

"Dear Fiddlestix, We are back from honeymoon and have finally caught up with ourselves, and I just wanted to send you a (rather belated!) email to say a huge thank you to you and the ceilidh band for the fantastic playing at our wedding. Everything went really well and everyone really enjoyed the ceilidh - we've had loads of comments from our guests about how much fun it was (special thanks to the brilliant caller), and it got everyone up on the dance floor! "Nigel played at our wedding on the 9th December 2023 and I can honestly say when I look back out our day the music was one of the biggest highlights for me. From our very first contact right up until the big day Nigel’s communication was amazing, always prompt to reply and nothing was too much bother. Six weeks before our wedding we actually changed our wedding venue and I called Nigel in such a panic as I was stressed but he was so great at calming me down and reassuring me that everything would be okay, and he was right, it was just perfect. Everybody that came to the wedding complimented the music and I myself started crying the moment my song started playing as I was about to walk down the aisle, it sounded perfect. There was a specific part of the song that I wanted to enter to and Nigel managed to time it perfectly without compromising on the quality of the playing. In addition, I was sad that I didn’t get to hear any of the music played before my arrival but I didn’t need to fear, Nigel was kind enough to send me a beautifully put together set list of the music that was performed, this is something that I will treasure. Nigel also recorded many of the songs on his GoPro and promptly sent these recordings to me. To watch my guests arriving, seeing my husband nervous before I arrive and watching myself walk down the aisle was truly magical and I will look back on this videos for years to come. So to summarise, I would highly recommend booking Nigel for your wedding, you will not regret it. "

"Always a risk when choosing something 'sight unseen. What a surprise package Hollie Marie was! She vowed to get the party started and this she did and some. Great song choices (read the room), brilliant artist and completely engaged with our guests. We can neither thank her or recommend her enough." Favourite moment: Hollie Marie dancing with guests and singing at the same time. David & Karen August 2025"

"Sophie was amazing and we would recommend her for any wedding, Sophie was quick to get back to us to answer questions before the day which was really helpful. Sophie sung songs of our choice during the ceremony even though they weren't on her set list- she has the most amazing voice, so beautiful and perfect for during our ceremony! "

"Candy Sunday were absolutely fabulous - incredibly friendly and easy-going, they mixed with the guests during the event and their performances were amazing - Maria has an incredible voice and from the moment they started their sets to when they finished the dance floor was packed. The band were a key part of the evening and I have received so many compliments from guests that thought they were amazing!"
