"I attended the valentine's acton bowls club last night. Boy l am l am pleased l did. The group was superb as per usual! Music, songs were terrific. The whole crowd were up singing and dancing to their fantastic repertoire. They kindly accept requests and play away to their hearts content. They are a friendly bunch of lads too XXX I would have refused to leave if l hadn't been threatened to call the lads in blue! LOL"

"this couple were very proffessional for our wedding reception and we have never used them before. Needless to say that they turned up early to set up for the evening they played a wide range of music from 60's to 80's and had everyone up dancing. I would reccomend this duo to anyone. they have a friendly and pleasant demeanour and nothing was too much trouble for them"

"I booked the Catfish Kings to play at my 60th Birthday party, having read great reviews online and hearing them in action. As an early rock & roll themed party they came and absolutely smashed it! Such a great sound and set list, with the full line up of vocals, sax, boogie woogie pianist, drums, bass and guitar, they played a brilliant set of classic numbers and had everyone up dancing, in short… they really delivered. From the initial discussions to the set-up and final song they were brilliant to work with, on time, in tune, warm, friendly and super talented. Miles Perkins 60."

"Hi Ben, I wanted to say a huge thank you to you and the band for Saturday night. From the very first email, you've been fantastic to deal with. Answering all my questions and making sure every detail is correct. Then on the night, the band turned up early, set up promptly, were all dressed for the occasion and of course, played a brilliant couple of sets of music. I've had so many compliments on the band from those who came to the party. The best bit was how enthusiastic the band were to recreate the 'Back to the Future' theme, adding in the extra song 'Night Train' to really bring it to life. We had numerous dropouts due to coronavirus but it was still a great night! Thanks again, Natalie"

"Groove Central were incredible! Such an awesome bunch of talented people and every single one of our guests were up on the dance floor busting their best moves all night long! We did not want the party to end, they were totally awesome and the best band we could ever have hoped to have. They raised the roof and blew us all away. We want another party now just so Groove Central can come too! We love them! "

"Lucy performed everything from our ceremony music to the evening and it was absolutely incredible and loved by all! Any request was never too much to do and her personal music we loved! Everyone at the wedding said we nailed our music choice! If I could do it all again, Lucy and her band would be booked again and again.."

"What can I say, The Night Hours were fabulous!!!! My 50th party was a great success, the band and the music were brilliant, and I have had some great feedback from my guests. Let me know when you are playing in Bristol again so we can come see the band."

"The Rampart Street Ramblers were excellent. Easy to deal with and flexible with plans, within the parameters of the booking. They had their own good suggestions (for example playing before dinner in the garden unamplified and then amplified in the marquee afterwards which worked very well.) They performed very professionally and their style was much appreciated by host and guests alike."

"Wow, what a singer! Lucy was an absolute star, travelling up from London with her guitarist to my party in the Midlands to help me out at short notice, as I was struggling to find an act I liked and was available for my birthday party. What I didn't realise was, not only is she absolutely lovely but she has an amazing voice, great range, a huge variety of songs and she even did me an Elvis number by special request. Her guitarist was a quality act too. I know there are lots of 10/10 ratings on here, but seriously I don't think you could give Lucy any less, if you hire her, she will make your event a special one. "

"We would just like to say how great we thought you guys were! Every single guest commented on how perfect a band you were for our wedding. At every stage you have been a pleasure to deal with, even coming to meet us prior to the big day. Your sets were just great, the mix of songs got everyone young and old up and dancing. "Thank you so much for playing at our wedding. The first dance song was incredible, as soon as you started playing it we knew we had picked the right band for our wedding day. People are still talking about the show you put on and asking for more information about where they can hear more! We will definitely be recommending The Blue Suede Shoes to anyone planning a wedding or any other event. Thanks again!"
