"Hit Parade absolutely smashed it at my 50th! From the moment they started playing all of my guests were up and dancing. They even did played some of our requests as well. I couldn't have asked for better entertainment for my night. Thanks guys!"

"Thank you to all your musicians for their efforts. There has been a lot of positive feedback about the playing so it seems to have gone down well with everyone. It was just the type of thing I was hoping for so thank you :-) It was good fun and obviously the musicians are experienced as the sounds was great :-) which is what I had hoped for. "The Royal Union are great such a talented band and their performance was stunning. The lead singer has a superb voice and really entertained our guests.They had so many people up on the dance floor right from the off all the way to the very end. We’d happily buy tickets to see them in concert and take all our mates along."

"Just to let you know that everybody really enjoyed the party, as you could probably see on the night. The venue and catering were excellent, but most of all, you and your band were fantastic. After the party, I received all the thank you calls; your band was the topic of much of all the conversations. Many could not believe just how good you were. For me, the whole night seemed to pass so quickly. You helped to make it something that will be difficult to beat. The Punch Bowl Restaurant rate it as their best so far, and were really impressed with your performance. You were the talk of the restaurant the next day. Thank you for a great night"

"Dear Anne, Thank you all for you efforts throughout the day! Many people commented on how superb the quartet was. It was such a special element to the day. We are so so pleased with the performances, song choices and effortless ease in which carried out their role. Despite being a working day for them, we hope they had the opportunity to enjoy some of the food and weather! We are still awaiting the photos but should anything come through we feel would be good for social media, we will be sure to forward on. "'Swing Gitan UK joined the Nottingham Jazz Orchestra on the bill of the Christmas Jazz Fest last weekend. Having seen Swing Gitan a number of times, I have always been massively impressed with the musical and technical ability of all members of the band. Their music would sound at home on the streets or riverbank walkways of Paris, but we were lucky enough for them to join us for a unique lineup of bands. Within just a few bars of their first number, (insert what you played first here, I can't remember, sorry lol), it is clear to all that Elliott Lewis and Wayne Jefferies, who take the positions as guitarists within the band, are masters of their instruments and faithfully re-create the music of Django Reinhardt, but adding their own style to numbers such as Minor Swing, Blue Bossa, and Undecided. Joined by bassist Rob Coates and James Tolhurst completing the lineup, their enthusiasm is infectious and the music always driving. If you ever get the chance to catch these guys doing a set, you will not be disappointed!' "

"We could not be happier with Phil and his AMAZING big band. Right from the very outset things started well as he was very friendly in our conversations and happy to accommodate requests based on our tastes, as well as make his own suggestions (which we of course trusted given his experience!) When it came to the day itself the band were efficient at setting up and getting ready. Finally, the performance... WOW! 80% of the people invited to our wedding were professional musicians and the amount of positive comments was overwhelming. The band played lots of our favourites to keep us happy (including an amazing performance of In the Mood at end the evening), as well as plenty of classics to keep everyone on the dance floor (which, incidentally, was absolutely packed for the whole evening, which is something I've never witnessed before at a wedding, so that in itself is a testament to just how good and entertaining this band is). They even played a few strict tempo numbers which made our ballroom dancing friends very happy indeed. All in all the band and the vocalists were absolutely fantastic and we couldn't recommend them higher. They made our wedding all the more special and unique and we cannot thank them enough. Need a big band? Look no further! Phil's your man!!"
