"She conjures songs both mellifluous and punchy which she delivers with charm and wit. There’s romance and sex in abundance, swirling lyrics into fables, stirring tunes into delicacies for the ear. Who’s that girl, lurking behind her vocals? I’m hearing Julie Driscoll and Judie Tzuke. Astrud Gilberto and Carly Simon. Chrissie Hynde and Peggy Lee. Not too loudly. Nessa knocks them for six with her soul and folk, jazz and pop takes. She gives the broads a run for their fifty pees."

"Big thank you to Funk Federation for their set on our Wedding day, absolutely brilliant. Two great sets and the dance floor demanding more! Great selection of songs, great fun, really made the evening exactly what we hoped. Very considerate to our requirements with great communication and organisation around our non-standard setup. "Thank you so much for getting everything arranged so smoothly for our wedding knees-up last week. Having the band available to play both acoustic and electric sets was fantastic for breaking up the evening and we had so many compliments from guests about how great they were. The guys were so professional and easy to work with, setting up in good time and staying with us right until the end of the night – they certainly put in an impressive shift! I should mention how special it was that the band learnt a track to play for our first dance and we appreciate that they really went the extra mile. Given that the dancefloor was full for so much of the evening our other guests clearly enjoyed themselves too!"

"I hired The Romantics to play at my wedding last year - They were amazing and got everyone (which was a fairly international crowd) on the dancefloor in no time! We picked our songs and they came up with the rest. They were also really friendly and smiley with all of our guests - I highly recommend these guys. "

"SouthWest Band are the BEST! The band played acoustically during the day of our wedding and then in the evening. They were INCREDIBLE! The dance floor was full, the dancing was wild and the music was perfect. They are all very talented guys, who know how to keep wedding guests dancing. A big thank you to you all!"

"Absolutely fantastic band. Booked for 25th Wedding party and superb. Really good communication beforehand, wanted to know what we wanted but also gave helpful guidance and had pretty much uploaded every song suggestion for DJ set before they arrived. Very professional, really excellent musicians who engaged with partygoers and came out onto dance floor. Which was definitely filled. Brilliant. Would highly recommend and definitely book again. And really nice blokes. Matt is a fantastic frontman but also really good at engaging with us as the party organisers. Couldn’t fault them. Thank you!"
