"Thank you, thank you, thank you! We cannot stop talking about the weekend. The text messages, guest book feedback and facebook posts were incredible and keep coming! We also had 58 guests staying over and all of them were very very complimentary and raved about so many different aspects of the wedding. The one thing everyone kept asking was: where did you find that band? People raved about the ceremony song and said it made them cry, all said the Quartet were great and that the pianist doing dinner really helped set the mood. Beyond that, the five different sets all received amazing reviews. Particular highlights were the MJ Medley, the Jewish music (very well done), the end medley people said was so so different, plus the fantastic Buddha Bar set and rock sets which people did not want to end! Amy and I remarked to each other that of every penny we spent, the best money was spent on MIB! We stand by that! The performance was incredible. We were so, so pleased. We had such amazing comments and having been to 15 or more weddings in recent years we know we had the best and others also said you were the best. We just had this hunch you were going to be amazing, and we were right"

"Just back form our few days away after the wedding. I just wanted to say thank you so much for your performance on Friday night. You were fantastic and we had so much feedback from our guests saying the same. As I said in slightly drunken way at the end of your set, it is always a risk when you have seen a band perform live before but we were far from disappointed. A really great act and you made our night. Thank you. Please pass our comments on to the other members of the band and if you would like to add this to your website or would prefer me to do the same, please let em know Kind regards Malcolm Edwards, wedding at Lainston House in Winchester – 8th August 2014 "

"Having heard The RockPins at a friend's wedding and seeing the atmosphere they created we knew that as soon as we were looking for a band for our work Christmas party The RockPins were the band for us. All communication from Matt was so friendly and professional and gave us all the information we needed. On the night of the party, they set up and sound checked, bringing everything they needed with them. We had a brief discussion about the playlist for the night, number of sets but I was more than happy to leave it to their professional judgement. The dance floor was never empty and everyone was singing along. Having The RockPins at our party made the night and the whole team send their compliments. Thank you Matt and the Band!"

"Absolute Mayhem The Horse & Chains, Bushey on Saturday 30 September 2023 It's a rare thing to go into a local pub and hear a keyboard player who has been described as a musical "genius" by none other than David Bowie. This is no tall story either. The musician Billy Ritchie was the first player in rock music to give keyboards a prominent role -- and that was before Keith Emerson (ELP) and Rick Wakeman came on the scene. Billy told me that he remained good friends with the Thin White Duke until his death in 2016. Lanark-born Mr Ritchie now provides the skilful and fancy keyboards and records backing tracks for his latest incarnation Mayhem with talented female singer Carol Leslie. Carol is a really strong vocalist with a gutsy style. This dynamic duo started their first set at the cosy Sebright Arms with Elvis's late sixties' classic Suspicious Minds. The second song was a surprise -- Kirsty MacColl's comedy number There's A Guy Works Down The Chip Shop Swears His Elvis. It was a perfect choice after the first song. Carol and Billy select their material wisely and give their audience something very different from the predictable Mustang Sally, Brown Eyed Girl and I Saw Her Standing There, churned out by so many pub bands. So it was great to hear Georgio Moroder and Phil Oakey's electro smash Together In Electric Dreams, Matchbox's catchy rocker Rockabilly Rebel, Starship's uplifting We Built This City (on which Billy demonstrated his keyboard dexterity) and Solomon Burke's gospel-ish Cry To Me. And that was just the first half. Carol is happy to tackle songs usually associated with male vocalists and she started part two with a raucous version of Bryan Adams' rocker Summer Of 69. If you have never seen Mayhem, ask Billy to perform Light My Fire, the Doors rock classic from 1967. This was a sheer musical masterclass as he re-created both vocally and instrumentally this great song. Billy has a rich, tuneful voice and this was a stunning performance. Other highlights in the second half included Journey's rock anthem Don't Stop Believing, Carol's gritty interpretation if Shania Twain's Man I Feel Like A Woman and a fine performance of Bon Jovi's Living On A Prayer A total of 24 songs and I cannot wait to see this duo again. My only concern is their name. I think many club and pubgoers might think Mayhem are a heavy metal band rather than an all-round, top class duo. "Dave played at our wedding a couple of weeks ago, and all I can say is WOW! We keep receiving comments about how cool it was to have a sax on the dance floor and how great the playing was. Not only that, Dave is such a lovely guy and was a pleasure to deal with throughout. Wouldn’t hesitate to recommend. I have always been a HUGE sax fan, thank you Dave for helping to make our wedding day so perfect."

"Everyone loved Dave and he made our event. We had lunch the day after our wedding and last minute I contacted Dave to see if he was available and what a fantastic decision! Dave playing just added that final touch. We had such a wonderful afternoon and can’t thank you enough."

"You have no reason to believe me or trust me..for I am just a name. But if you do not book these guys you are missing out.. the passion..the fun..the atmosphere these all had was unlike I could have dreamed of....every song belted out as though in front of thousands.. every melody hit with precision...I cannot tell you how much everyone...and I mean everyone at my wedding talked and raved about the music, style professionalism but most of all the quality of their set. They joined us for dinner, endured our speeches then performed to the very highest standard and blew our socks off.. so...thank you for an amazing night to Paulo Jeremey Chris .eaun . And not forgetting rhona too. Thank you for everything. Thank you for being a part of everything. Thank you for making our night so so special. Amazing. Simply amazing. Good luck with everything. "

"Detroit Deluxe were engaging, energetic and excellently executed every song performed. As a couple, our music taste crosses over in the soul and RnB categories and we felt through Detroit Deluxe, we could have crowd pleasers to involve our family and friends, that we also loved so much! They really delivered! We had so many positive comments about how amazing the lead singers' voices were! To top it off, they created a musical medley for our first dance! Outstanding. "
