Review Centre: Disco / Funk Bands

"We hired Redline Avenue Band at short notice for our wedding in the Hertfordshire countryside in September 2018. They put on nothing short of an absolutely fabulous performance in our festival tipi! They are wonderful musicians and singers, had a great set list to choose from and were extremely professional and accommodating with our last minute changes. During their interval they even offered to learn to play a new song so that our nieces could sing it to us as a surprise. The bands manager is very professional and we had great communication from start to finish. We had countless compliments on the band and can honestly say we have never been to a wedding before (and we've been to a lot) where the dance floor remained packed throughout the entire performance. Thanks for helping to make our big day so special! We highly recommend them for any event you may have planned."

"What. A. Band. Amidst our hours of research for a wedding band, we came across the Band Boutique's website and in turn found Rafiki. I knew when I heard the Britney Spears cover that you were going to be our wedding band! Not only are Rafiki the slickest band I've heard at a wedding, but you made our wedding so much fun and personal. Mike and I thank you so much - you gave us the most incredibly fun and energetic evening to our wedding, our guests cannot stop talking about the music! The choices of songs were just perfect and your rendition of our first dance just made it for us. Thank you for making our night! And thank you to band manager, Ollie, for a seamless experience behind the scenes - you were ace!"

"Dealing with Shakers Gold was an absolute pleasure – at every stage. They responded to any query quickly and efficiently (which certainly set them apart from other bands we investigated). They kept in contact all the way through from booking to the event. Their website demonstrates how seriously Chris and the others take their business. On the night they arrived, set up with no fuss, put on an amazing performance, played the music we wanted to hear in between their sets and made our ‘wedding do’ the ‘party’ we had wished for. "Fuego were simply the best and we couldn't have imagined any other musicians we'd rather had danced to at the end of our special day. They were very helpful and keen to discuss the playlist before the big day as well as confirm timings for set up and their sets. They listened to our ideas and made excellent recommendations. On the day, they arrived promptly (despite the wedding being in a field in the middle of nowhere!) and set up quietly in the background. We were able to time it so we could use their mic for our speeches which was very handy. All the members of the band were very polite and friendly. The music they produced was just fantastic and we had so many amazing comments about them. They played a mixture of classics and contemporary songs which allowed everyone to get going onto the dance floor in no time. Noelle’s voice is just wow and the Latin covers are sublime. If you want to party the night away with a fun, friendly band who have a unique Latin flare I'd definitely recommend hiring these guys. "

"I was at the function you performed at on Saturday night and I haven’t been able to stop thinking about how good the band is. I looked into live music for a function a couple of years ago and didn’t see anything to come close to your band. It was a pleasure watching you, my wife and I agree it’s one of the best functions we`ve been to and we definitely haven’t seen a better more contemporary band in our lives."
