"Rob did a fantastic job on our lead float and DJ stage at this year's pride event. It was a quick setup, easy close down and just generally a logistical dream. "We hired Urban Myth for our wedding in June 2019 and we honestly could not be happier with the experience. We found the band to be extremely professional throughout the entire planning process and with a reassuring attention to detail, which meant we had full faith in them to deliver on the night – particularly after watching them perform live in Didsbury beforehand. When our big day finally arrived, they were absolutely fantastic and played two one-hour sets that had our guests on the dance floor all evening, providing a real atmosphere to the night. The set-lists were varied enough to please all ages, and our guests genuinely commented afterwards about how they made the evening. If you are looking for a wedding band, Urban Myth is a perfect choice."

"Phenomenal experience! Despite issues with railway delays, James kept in contact throughout the afternoon, arrived and was ready ahead of time. He worked with my plan for the evening and played more than originally asked for which was a bonus. I had a lot of positive feedback from everyone that heard him play, and would definitely book again. "

"We booked Melisma Jazz at quite short notice for a garden party to celebrate our 5th Anniversary as a business. Sarah-Jane Morris was an absolute pleasure to work with. She was flexible in piecing together a quartet that suited our needs, and the atmosphere created by Sarah-Jane and her fellow musicians on the day was superb. Thank you so much Sarah-Jane for all that you did to make our event a special one for us, and we hope to have the pleasure of working with you again at some stage."

"Fantastic! We booked Jonny to play at our wedding in July. He played an easy-listening set outside whilst the pictures were being taken and it was great - he had our guests entertained and tapping along, adding a nice vibe to the afternoon. He then played another set during the wedding breakfast which quickly turned into a party and we had an impromptu dancefloor! Our guests (and us) had an absolutely brilliant time dancing and singing along. It was that good that we actually asked Jonny to stay on and play for an extra hour which he was able to do - our guests were demanded this and asking him for his contact details for future bookings! He was happy to take requests and throughout he was easy to communicate with to arrange date/times. Thoroughly nice guy as well, would happily book him again for future occasions."

"We chose the Confidential having seen them play at our friend's wedding. They are a fantastic band and play a wide variety of music which is ideal for weddings and ensured the dance floor was heaving all night! They even accommodated our first dance song for us despite the short notice (sorry!) - and nailed it! In short; a perfect band!"

"These guys made our wedding! I don't normally bother to submit reviews but I know how hard it is to choose the perfect band for your wedding and having been so thrilled with what Ben and the rest of the guys did for us, I felt compelled to write. We had the duo doing background before speeches and then the quartet with sax, to kick off the party. It was simply perfect for the occasion and our 110 guests unanimously agreed that they loved the band! The guys added our choice of first dance to their playlist, which was superb. It bridged the generational gap at our wedding perfectly, we filled the dance floor with 6 to 86 year olds - no mean feat. After the last set, Ben stayed on to let us use his disco playlist on his laptop, which also worked fabulously well. My wife and I'm sure 110 of our guests wouldn't hesitate to recommend this band. A massive thank you, you were a real highlight and also all great guys :-)"
