"Booking EM Strings was a dream fulfilled as I always wanted a live instrument band playing on my wedding. It was surreal walking in to my favourite song playing from my childhood favourite film that is a classic Bollywood love story. The guest thoroughly enjoyed listening to them during the canapés and it set the tone of the wedding day so perfectly! I would definitely recommend to anyone thinking of booking for their special day. The variety of songs that they play means there’s something for everyone to enjoy."

"Tamilla played at our wedding and was fantastic. We mostly chose songs from her repertoire but we did also have a few requests for her to play modern songs that weren't listed including a very obscure song from the Final Fantasy XX game. Somehow she managed to find a backing track and played the song beautifully during our register signing. The only reason we haven't given 10 stars is because we had a couple of little hiccoughs earlier in the year regarding a mix up with contracts/deposits and slow communication the month before the wedding (although this was because of health issues with Tamilla's family so was just bad luck on our part timing-wise). Otherwise, we would certainly recommend Tamilla as she's an amazing violinist and comes at a fair price."

Hi Justine, thank you for recognizing the quality of my performance on your wedding day, I did try very hard to find and rehearse the music you requested. As you have mentioned, two members of my immediate family had joint replacement operations within a week of each other, and I was a bit slow in replying, for which I apologized, but I think I have more than made up for any hiccups in communication by staying longer than the agreed contract and playing for your drink reception voluntarily and without being asked. "We met Josie at the Walled Garden in Midhurst and sat for sometime listening to her playing some lovely music. We decided she would be ideal to play at our wedding on 14th July 2017. The weather was perfect and Josie played outside for three hours while guests walked around the gardens and sat eating canepes. Her music finished the setting off and we had such great comments from our guests about how amazing her music was. Josie was very helpful and professional before in the planning stages, as well as during the day. We would recommend Josie to compliment your special event with her talented music."

"Booked Naomi to perform over zoom for my wife's 26th birthday. With it being lockdown in Scotland and not having many options, I thought it would be a lovely surprise for her to have a talented musician play a few of her favourite songs. I gave Naomi a list of a few special songs that she could play for us and without complaint or hesitation she was more than happy to play them for us. From the moment I made contact to the day of the performance everything was just perfection. My wife loved it as did I, she is still buzzing that Naomi played all her favourite songs on violin. Cannot recommend Naomi highly enough. She played beautifully. Couldn't have asked for anything more. Utterly splendid. Perfection. "

"J Hope was incredible, He played the violin during our wedding ceremony. We had so many of our guests compliment us on how amazing he was, such a talented and versatile violinist. He catered to all genres and had the guest dancing and crying. Can't thank him enough for making our special day even more amazing. Highly recommend!"
