"Funky Friday were fantastic! The sets they played were brilliant it got everybody going. I've had so many comments from the guests of how brilliant they were. I have also had comments from our venue saying how lovely they were and very laid back and helpful when it came to setting up"

"Lucy and Jack were amazing at our wedding. Everything we could have hoped for. They were great at learning my song requests for the whole day. Very reasonably priced for the incredible service they provide. Intimate and happy atmosphere created by their beautiful voices and musical talents! Completely perfected the musical genres we wanted of modern country and pop, with couple of older songs too. For any brides out there I highly recommend Lucy and Jack, and to have live singer whilst walking down the aisle, it was one of the most memorable parts of my day."

"We had the guys come up and play for our wedding. Everything was fabulous - including admin and communication. Sound was great - loads of good songs, lots of energy, and the group were excellent putting up with our delays on the day! The dance floor emptied at the break, but John and all started up again and it filled up! Great energy and would certainly book again."

"We hired the 80s band to play at our wedding this summer and I can honestly say that I could not have wished for better music, our guests have been raving about them ever since and they truly made our wedding the fun event we wanted it to be. The band really set the tone for the evening and got everyone of all ages dancing and they did not play one song that wasn’t an absolute classic wonderfully performed. Guests were begging them to carry on when they finished and the atmosphere they created was just amazing, the recreation of eighties hits in their own style is completely unique. There were other musicians present at our wedding and they too could not praise the performance highly enough. I honestly could not recommend them more, they were exactly what we wanted and they made our day."

"Having been set the challenge of playing completely unplugged in a wild camping venue for a 40th birthday celebration, The Blue Suede Shoes duo completely delivered. Great communication prior to the event, fantastic music, both in choice of song and standard of performance, they had the 30-40 something crowd all dancing and wanting more at the end - there were even offers of sleeping bags and breakfast! would absolutely recommend these guys for any function. "

Extremely professional band with an amazing team including sound engineer who all made it a terrific event. The music and performance were second to none and every single guest wanted encores. "I just wanted to thank you and your amazing band for such a fantastic performance on Saturday. People were absolutely blown away by you and I have to admit I'm a bit annoyed I couldn't just relax and enjoy all the songs we'd chosen - I kept hearing them and thinking 'I love that one!' then someone would interrupt me! But our guests had a fantastic time dancing away to your music and people have said to me that they'll never have a party without a band again. I was particularly struck by how perfect the jazz was when I walked in, it really was exactly what I wanted and set the tone so beautifully. If we ever need a band again I will definitely be in touch! "
