"Many thanks to the Black Velvet Band Ceilidh Trio for a fantastic 21st Birthday Ceilidh. The band provided a perfect balance for the young and young-at-heart, catering for everyone from the super-lively, to wheelchair-friendly dances, which was a lovely touch. Everyone had a great time."

"Thank you Ken for your contribution to making our Party on Saturday so brilliant. You were absolutely the right choice to give our guests (all 110) an introduction to line dancing. You got the balance right and the fun came as a result. The two late afternoon 45 minute sessions were the right balance to get the guests ready and up and dancing to the Band in the evening. "Hi, Thank you so much for performing at our wedding on Monday 3rd August at Chilston Park. You were amazing and many guests have commented on how great you were. Some guests have said they will contact you with a view to booking you for their functions. Thank you for taking our requests and letting our family use your microphone for their Irish music. We really feel like you created a party atmosphere…… You also really listened to our requests for music during the DJ sets and this made it personal to us and thoroughly enjoyable, I could have danced all night. ………, we would definitely give 5 stars – if not more!! "

"The band were very genial and friendly, totally professional and well organised. There were no hiccups, they arrived and straight away started setting up with no fuss. Brass bands are such a good way to enjoy outdoor spaces easily, no need for cables and power etc. so this was perfect for us. The crowd loved it! Their music isn’t exactly traditional brass band tunes, which I was nervous would not be a crowd pleaser. However, their song choices were brilliant, and familiar enough that there was lots of humming, singing along, and dancing. Several of the children danced for the whole two hours, they absolutely loved it! The families were so happy. It was really a brilliant occasion. Exactly what we needed for our business after these lock downs. "
