"I reached out on lastminutemusicians in a desperate search for a band to lead our parade, with just 5 days to the event. Eugene responded within an hour, mentioning price, and that they could assist us at such short notice. During subsequent correspondence with Eugene, and on behalf of his band, they indicated that they were enthusiastic and motivated and interested to support our event which was great. It was extremely welcomed as we had no band for a major event with just 5 days to go, and we were so relieved thanks to Eugenes help. On the day they performed fantastically and the members of the parade and event attendees enjoyed the music. I'd highly recommend Eugene and his band."

"We've had Sonia play a number of times at the bar and it's always a lovely night. She reads the crowd very well and plays a good mix of popular jazz tunes, all beautifully played and Sonia's vocals are warm, silky and wonderful. I would definitely recommend her!"

"Mike, we cannot thank you enough for how brilliant you guys were at our wedding! Thank you so much for being so flexible when, given the extreme heat and no air con, our guests decamped to the gardens and you all postponed your sets to play later in the evening when everyone was back inside the venue! We really appreciated that! We had so many compliments on how fantastic you all were and many of my guests have asked for your details! Not surprising since the entire band was lively, entertaining and just brilliantly talented! I would also like to thank you for keeping me so calm and making the booking process/ play list selection etc so easy. You were contactable whenever I needed you (wonderful) and were so in control that it put me at ease instantly. Thank you again and we cannot wait for another excuse to throw a big bash and hire you all again! "

"This long-standing UK jug band capture the knockabout sound of the best Memphis jug bands of the 20s and 30s extremely well in addition to turning their hand to melodic blues, vintage jazz, old timey music and hokum. It all makes for a very fine and fun releas."

"My huge thanks to you and all in Chateaux Swing for your excellent music on Tuesday evening at our St George's Banquet on board HQS Wellington - really uplifting stuff that added greatly to the convivial atmosphere of the evening. I'm rather sorry some of them carried on chatting through your brilliant 'concert spot' - a different crowd from January! - but the compliments fed back to me afterwards were universally full of praise. "Cannot praise MAWBS enough! They were truly brilliant, providing a very sophisticated and slick start to our school ball - the music was perfect whilst all our guests had pre dinner drinks and then again throughout the meal. Just the perfect level for people to relax and enjoy. We would highly recommend the band for all events - they arrived in plenty of time and were professional throughout. Great communication prior to the event in the planning stages. Wishing them all the best of luck for the future and hope to hear them again!"

"Although we found Meg by chance through this site, we feel so lucky to have had her sing at our wedding. Her soulful jazz singing and guitar was nothing short of magical. She also talked to us to make it completely personal. We'd recommend without hesitation!"
