"I booked Swing Gitan to provide a musical accompaniment for a garden party based on a recommendation from my daughter who had heard them previously in Nottingham. They performed their brand of jazz in a serious, professional and skilled manner and they met my requirements for the event exactly."

"I encountered Joanna in late 2015 at a cabaret, where her vocal texture immediately stood out. It was a pleasure to have her as part of the cabaret-style event I organised for my birthday and wedding the following summer, which included her singing a song I'd written for her. She was professional throughout, including in her stage presence, and her four-song set was a wonderful opener to the evening entertainment, delighting me and startling some of the guests. I could listen to the rich, cosseting quality of her low notes all day."

"Alive and Kicking were absolutely phenomenal at The Blossom Development Trust Charity Ball! From the moment they started playing, they brought an incredible energy and vibrant atmosphere that had everyone on their feet dancing. Their setlist was perfect, with a fantastic mix of classics and crowd-pleasers that appealed to all ages. Each band member’s talent and passion for music shone through in every performance, and their connection with the audience was truly special. Guests couldn’t stop raving about the band, with many saying they made the night unforgettable. The dance floor was packed all evening, and the positive energy Alive and Kicking brought was contagious. We are so grateful to the band for their professionalism, enthusiasm, and incredible talent. "Michael This is an email to thank you for playing at the Flodygarry last Saturday. We are just back from a week between Applecross and Shieldaig which was wonderful – and that is why I haven’t emailed sooner. We were really grateful for you all playing on our big day – and letting us know what we needed to do and when with the dancing! The playing brought the whole ceremony to life and several guests said later how impressed they were with the band, the party and how you helped the day. I know it wasn’t the biggest venue you will have ever played – but it was quite something to hear you all in a small bar on the very edge of Skye. "The Shooglers were incredible for our wedding reception. The Ceilidh calling was fantastic and the mix of Ceilidh folk and rock/pop beats was just amazing. The entire dance floor filled so fast! Not only were the Ceilidh tunes good the band also played some brilliant Beatles covers near the end after my wife and I spoke to them about how much we loved the Beatles. We now have lifetime memories on the dance floor from our wedding. Thank you so much to Davie and the guys from The Shooglers, you are awesome! "

"Mike, we cannot thank you enough for how brilliant you guys were at our wedding! Thank you so much for being so flexible when, given the extreme heat and no air con, our guests decamped to the gardens and you all postponed your sets to play later in the evening when everyone was back inside the venue! We really appreciated that! We had so many compliments on how fantastic you all were and many of my guests have asked for your details! Not surprising since the entire band was lively, entertaining and just brilliantly talented! I would also like to thank you for keeping me so calm and making the booking process/ play list selection etc so easy. You were contactable whenever I needed you (wonderful) and were so in control that it put me at ease instantly. Thank you again and we cannot wait for another excuse to throw a big bash and hire you all again! "

"We have used John as our resident performer for over 5 years now. Not only is he an excellent performer but also has become a good friend to all of the staff here. He has often helped out at numerous charities, as well as appearing at a number of weddings here. He also performs two of his tribute shows here per year and I look forward to seeing him again in November. "
