"Wow. Thank you to the Tzigauners for being part of our wonderful wedding. The band were excellent and we received many compliments throughout the day on their quality. I would also note that Tom was very responsive on email during the booking process and the band arrived in plentiful time on the day to ensure that they were ready to go when asked. "We all know the Vera Lynn favourites from the Wartime era, but this inventive, funny and playful duet takes the music of the 40s and a bit beyond to a new level, including numbers which I'd forgotten about, but loved. They are a perfect harmonic duet, with voices which cover the full range, each bringing their own complimentary personalities to the songs. And what a variety of songs there are! From the tear jerking wartime hits, to the fun and frivolity that also comes with that era: 'I like coffee, I like tea' from the Ink Spots. They don't make life easy for themselves! Some of the lyrics are real tongue twisters, but they bring polish and verve to what they do. Their humour between numbers keeps the whole evening in the Forties 'vibe', and their close harmony gives the Andrews Sisters a run for their money. I'm a child of the 60s, but really enjoyed the evening. If you love close harmony of the era, nostalgia and playful fun you will love this show."

"We had The Tzigauners play as a trio at the drinks reception of our wedding this summer (2017) - and I am so glad I made the decision to have them perform. The music and resulting ambience was exactly what I wanted. Alex, our contact, was excellent in coming back to me with email responses to my questions before the event and came across as very relaxed and happy to go with the flow on the day, which calmed me down a lot. Would thoroughly recommend for any event. "

"Excellent jazz band, very classy, perfect for the event in question. It's nice to see a band which does things so simply and professionally, providing a full sound with the minimum of equipment. They were happy to play to the room when people were eating and talking, at a volume which still allowed conversation, but were friendly and engaging as and when people wanted to interact with them. The singer they provide has a great voice, well matched to their style, no over-acting or dramatic self indulgence, just confident strong and pitch perfect. Great day, thank you."
