"Dear Anne, Just wanted to say thank you for the music at our Golden wedding/birthday party on board the Sabrina on 10th July. Your choice of music was very good with something for everybody. I’m sorry you had to play in such cramped conditions, but it was lovely to have you there - really lifted the spirits. Everyone thoroughly enjoyed themselves, and thankfully the weather was kind to us and didn’t rain until it was time to go home. thanks once again, We did enjoy it, and courtesy of the recording made by my youngest grandson, can listen again to your lovely playing of Elgar's "salut d'amour' any time we like - the sound is good on the recording, though the picture leaves something to be desired. "Beautiful music, set just the right tone during our wedding ceremony on the beach. All if our guests commented how amazing it was having Duncan playing with his guitar throughout. Duncan went above and beyond to make our day special and we are so grateful for him travelling all the way to bournemouth for the day. Wish we could do it all over again!"

"Dearest Sarah- Jane and the boys Thank you so much for playing at our wedding. It was perfect. Everyone has been talking about it. Honestly, it was so hot but was perfect because it turned the room into a ‘Speakeasy’. It was brilliant and people were chatting away and just having the best time. Apart from my little nieces who loved dancing with you all. It really was the best day and I hope you all got back safely and had a great time. Thank you."

"We wanted to just say THANK YOU SO MUCH for being part of our perfect wedding day. The wedding was everything we could have ever hoped for. We had so much fun and we feel so blessed to have had so many of our wonderful friends and family there with us. Everyone had an amazing time and everyone enjoyed the music thoroughly. In fact, everything went to plan perfectly, the music was amazing throughout the day and so well executed! The sax at the reception was fabulous, even the weather was perfect, so we couldn't be happier! Then the music at dinner was great and the live band in the event… well just phenomenal! Our first dance was just perfect and we enjoyed every second of it! Andy, you have been a complete pleasure to deal with and given me such confidence from day one that the music for the event was under control and you delivered on your promise! THANK YOU!"

"Absolutely fantastic, very polite and professional, more than happy to play requests, even let my mum (the bride) have a little go on the drums which made her day as all she ever wanted was a steel band at her wedding. Highly recommended"

"The Velvet Tones play at our restaurant regularly. The reviews we’ve had on Google about their performances have been amazing and ticket sales for our music nights are always a sell-out! We go for the trio because we don’t have space for drums and it’s perfect because we can keep the sound to a better level so people can enjoy the music without having to shout over it to speak at dinner. Great band!"

"I just want to thank Catherine from the bottom of my heart. The music on my wedding day was amazing, I was truly lost for words. The fact you had learnt the song I wanted in a matter of days and it was just like I imagined it. I have never meet anyone whom has such a amazing and wonderful voice who can do so many different songs and sound out of this world. I can guarantee if you book Catherine you will not be disappointed. Thank you again."

"Just wanted to let you know that the band were all amazing on the night - we had such a great time and all our guests commented on how impressive the band were - the dance floor was busy all evening. Please would you pass on my thanks as I didn't get a chance to thank them all individually before they left and I really want them to know that they made it all perfect, especially giving up the keyboard for the first song as well! Thanks for all your help in organising everything, it was exactly what we wanted. "
