"We booked the band for our wedding reception back in October. We are both huge Irish music fans and have had several memorable trips to Ireland so it was especially important to us to have a live Irish band on our big day. We spend a fair amount of time looking for the “perfect Irish band” and were over the moon to have found the Extonions. From the initial enquiry Mac was both friendly and very professional. He instantly made us feel like we had made the right decision and was more than happy to include any special song requests we had. He then made sure they included on the night and that everyone had a great time. All the band members were lovely and friendly chatting to our guests and fitted in perfectly with our relaxed party atmosphere. Many of our guests have commented on how great they were and we would not hesitate in booking them again in the future or recommending them to others. Thanks so much for making our wedding day so memorable."

"Matt was one of the headlining acts at our recent annual all day music festival. As always he has a great stage presence and keeps the audience entertained and involved. He is able to expertly turn his hand to a selection of genres that always pleases. Would strongly recommend."

"Phil played at our wedding 2/6/2022, he came highly recommended by a couple of friends. I cannot praise Phil highly enough for his professionalism, talent and attention to detail. He totally personalised our wedding by playing our ceremony music, first dance song, sets in the garden, sets indoors later and then his DJ set to end the evening. Its was a big ask to get him to cover a Foo Fighters song for our first dance song but he absolutely nailed it. Phil reads the day and as we were blessed with fabulous weather he did a lot more in the garden than anticipated but then moved inside at the perfect time so we could cut our cake and do our first dance. Our wedding would not have been the same without him there and all of our guests danced from start to end. It will be a day we will remember forever thank you so much Phil. You" re priceless!!! "I first experienced House of Chords as a guest at a wedding in December 2015. They were the best live party band my family and friends had ever seen. With the responsibility of organising a joint 21st and 50th celebration, the band were at the top of our list to ensure a good time would be had by all. Again, what a night! They surpassed what were already very high expectations. These gifted guys are accomplished musicians with superb technical ability topped by pitch perfect distinctive vocals from the lead singer. Whilst genuine masters of their artistic craft, they lack any ego and their primary purpose as entertainers is to make sure everyone has a fun and fabulous time. Words can’t do justice to the hugely positive feedback we received from our guests. Hiring a band from cold can feel like a real gamble but I can assure you these guys deliver and then some. They have an extensive, popular and eclectic repertoire and can improvise and specialise whatever you want as well as adapting to the vibe and tempo in the room. The dance floor was packed from start to finish with the guests pleading for encores. They are genuinely nice guys and they fully get it's your night not theirs - although it’s clear they really enjoy playing and entertaining. This genuine enthusiasm quickly becomes infectious around the room. The band are highly professional and from the moment you make contact with the lead guitarist, Mike, you feel reassured that you will be in safe hands. A very personable guy, he’s happy to talk it through with you, makes sure the band will deliver exactly what you want and can offer helpful advice and insight to make it the best night ever. Also for our party these talented musicians take their role as entertainers seriously and they still arrived in good time to set up despite horrendous traffic problems on that day. They appreciate how important the success of your party is to you. I don’t ever write reviews but felt compelled to do so because if you are like me, you might just need a second or even a third opinion and some reassurance when planning such a celebration. I can’t say it enough -you will have a great time if you book these guys."

"Martin is absolutely superb, highly recommend him. He did three sets at our party and got the party atmosphere going straight away, there was dancing, singalongs and lots of applause. Martin made our party, so impressed, very professional and really friendly, so much he was invited to stay and join the party, which he did. Thank you Martin for making our party extra special. "Many thanks for making the evening a wonderful event. Everyone had enjoyed themselves thoroughly and had a fantastic evening. Your band really made a difference and was the cherry on top of the event. I have arranged with our admin guys the cheque which has been sent today. Do you perform in the west country at all? "The band was fabulous. They arrived on time and set up without a fuss. At the last minute our plans changed slightly and the band were very accommodating. Their sound was very well setup and the music they played was first class. Many guests commented on how much they enjoyed their performance. They made a goodnight into a great night. Happy to recommend them."

"Your band was incredible! Your huge selection of iconic James Bond theme songs made our 007-themed gala come alive, and added a new level of energy to the night. The variety of vocal and instrument talent and the perfect choice of dance songs at the end, set James Bond Orchestra apart from any others I’ve heard. Thanks for taking our event to a new level!"

"Sam played for my daughter's wedding before the ceremony, as she walked up the aisle, during the signing of the register and at the drinks reception immediately afterwards. He was brilliant and complemented the atmosphere and style of the wedding perfectly. He sounds even better in person than on the video clip, and played and sang beautifully. He is a really nice person too and I couldn't recommend him highly enough."
