" After weeks of researching the best piper I could find we came across Patrick. We asked if he could also play with a drummer. Patrick sourced Anthony the drummer for us and what a decision it was. The piper and the drummer played in perfect harmony together. Although it was a somber event being a funeral, they lifted the spirits of those in attendance and and made it the perfect send off. As a family we couldn't have asked for a better performance. They were easy to organise and communicate with. Outstanding service, I would thoroughly recommend both the piper and the drummer"

"The Last Cavaliers performed at our wedding this Summer and they were absolutely brilliant! Everyone, from my friends in their 20's to my grandparents friends in their 70's, mentioned how much they enjoyed the live music and dancing the night away. We opted for the 6 piece band with brass section and loved it! The brass section really added to the party atmosphere and if you're thinking of booking The Last Cavaliers you MUST book 'with brass' - definitely worth it! The Last Cavaliers were recommended to us by another well known northern function band, that we'd seen before, and we were thrilled to discover that these guys are actually better! 
One thing that we particularly appreciated was that the band took the time to learn our first dance, which was a compilation of 2 songs, and they did a fantastic job. 

Hopefully we won't personally need these guys for another wedding (ahaha) but we can't recommend them enough. You are awesome!"

"Ollie provided us with 2 x 1 hour sessions at a private birthday party for 65 guests. He responded very quickly to my initial enquiry and communicated well. On the day he arrived in good time and very soon, and without any fuss, had his equipment set up and was ready to start. Despite only being a small private venue (3m x 8m garden marquee plus outside area) Ollie was quite happy to do his stuff - and he was extremely good at it. Ollie has a super voice, great guitar skills, superb repertoire of songs that will get people joining in and, is a very nice guy to-boot. Performing in a garden marquee in December cannot have been the easiest gig Ollie's had but, give him his due, he didn't let that put him off and very quickly had everyone loving his work. Highly recommended, great value, and a real pleasure to have had playing at our party - our guests all thought he was brilliant - we will definitely be booking Ollie again for a summer function (yes, Ollie, a warm marquee!)."

"Nigel played at our drinks reception at Dodford Manor on Monday 4th September 2023. We were very impressed with Nigel and enjoy the songs that were played, especially the Disney ones. We received positive feedback from guests and his interaction was brilliant! Nigel was welcoming and accommodating to our needs on the day and we would highly recommend his work. "

I am sorry I didn’t get to meet you in person but it was perfect, it could not have gone any better and we have received so many compliments about you and how you play. Even just you being there (omg they have a harpist) haha. It sounded beautiful, we cant thank you enough for your work and making our day that bit more special. I will definitely be recommending you in the future and be using you again. "Just wanted to drop you a note to thank you for the amazing performance last night. You certainly got the audience up and dancing, it was so good to see the dance floor so full for the entire evening! I had so many guests asking who you guys were as they were thoroughly impressed. The Irish songs went down particularly well, and adding the violin in to the rest of your repertoire was a really awesome touch! Thank you for helping to make our day so memorable. "Amazing! MadsyP_Sax provided the perfect vibe for our wedding. She played a chilled set in the courtyard for our drinks reception before bringing the party to life on the dance floor in the evening. All of our guests commented on how amazing Madsy was, we couldn't have asked for more on our wedding day. "
