"Swinging like a barn door in a Texas breeze, the album shows the tightness of a band that have spent many years on the road. An established favourite on the jazz and nostalgia circuit, this well respected and popular five piece have evolved a contemporary style from a mash up of genres from the early 20th century...Cool jazz guitar, bass driven swing, excellent dobro, evocative harmonica and smokey vocal tones, velvet dipped in bourbon. Material is varied and well chosen, a souvenir from stage from one of the best live jazz-lite bands on the circuit."

Thank you so much for arranging this... the music was beautiful, and apart from a rain shower or two the BBQ went brilliantly well as we celebrated our 150th. Very grateful. "Squarewaves arrived quietly and set up without a fuss, and just got on with it while the last minute preparations carried on around them. They started bang on time, and when I wanted to bring their second set forward a few minutes they were happy to. They were great, one of the band members (Chris) introduced himself when they arrived, and asked a couple of questions before setting up. They all looked smart and great on the stage, and were all friendly and chatty. Thought they were brilliant, and I can’t fault them, what talented chaps. I, along with the rest of the guests, was incredibly impressed with their performance. Squarewaves were excellent, uber talented and enthusiastic. I would use them again at the drop of a hat, and wouldn’t hesitate to recommend them."

"Just wanted to send an email to say a massive thank you for performing at our Wedding in Knowsley Hall on 30th July. We first heard you at an open day in the Hall some months before, and at the time you were playing Hoppipolla. We hadn't thought about booking a string quartet, but for some reason hearing you play this made me come over very emotional and we knew we had to have you playing me down the aisle to that song. From the moment we first enquired with you, you have been nothing but helpful and proffesional, and we knew we could rely on you. Even when I was flapping about the timings of the aisle music and worrying I would get the walk wrong, Rachel was quick to reassure me that you adapt the music as needed on the day to ensure the bride walks at the best part of the song,and the timing of the song could be finished as appropriate to the start of the ceremony. This, and everything else you played on the day worked perfectly. The songs you used were beautiful and set the tone of the day so well, you looked and sounded amazing. Our guests have all commented on how wonderful you were, and we really cannot thank you enough. "
