"Funk it Up! were the perfect band for our wedding! Their repertoire found favour with young and old and guests were up on the dance floor from the very first song! A great energy radiated from the stage as Funk it Up! did their thing! Highly recommend. Best dance band in town! "

" Absolutely incredible band! Played at my sisters wedding on 16 July. Had everybody up on the dance floor all night and we all still wanted more! Songs were excellently chosen and made a perfect day even more amazing!!! Highly recommended!! "

"Nick's performances at our wedding ceremony and drinks reception gave our wedding exactly the personal, relaxed, happy, romantic atmosphere we wanted. The range of songs he can perform is perfect and he was also happy to learn and perform a song we requested. I'm so glad we booked him as you just can't beat a live musician performing as you walk down the aisle and back up as husband and wife. Many people who were guests at our wedding have contacted me to get Nick's details to recommend him to others as they thought he was so great - even more than a year on we still have people tell us how much they enjoyed the music at our wedding - thank you Nick!"

Having been let down by our original singer with just a month to go, you came highly recommended and we are thrilled you were able to play for us! You were a pleasure to liaise with from day one, quick to reply to our emails and provided a truly seamless service. On the day, the music was awesome and we are so grateful for you learning to play our first dance song especially for us in such a short space of time! "I was lucky enough to catch these guys at a public gig, as soon as I heard and saw the energy that went in to their sets, I knew this was the band for mine and my wife's joint 40th. From the first enquiry these guys were obliging and easy to deal with, nothing was too much trouble. The party was great fun, aided by Acquiesce, their sets on the night were great, full of energy and they had everyone up dancing. Following the party we have received loads of great reviews none more so than my wife who, hadn't heard Acquiesce prior to the party! We would like to say a big thank you for making our party and hopefully you are still rocking for my 50th bacause you are booked!"

"Jan and the band were absolutely fantastic. The booking process was super easy and Jan was really accommodating, even with the film theme of our party! We had lots of compliments from our guests and the band was a brilliant addition to our party. Heartily recommend!"

"I facilitated a get together event (neighbours & co-workers) at my private property . I suggested Jazz swing music and we received much more than we asked for. It was lovely, beautiful music and vocal and we all had a great time. Thank you Laura for creating great atmosphere. "

"Joanne 's recital, though short because of our time constraints was very well received and the common thought was it was the highlight of the evening. More was definitely needed but we ran out of time .Unfortunate, if I had been more aware we would have had Joanne's talents on display a lot earlier in the evening "
