"I saw these guys recently when they played at the Limelight Theatre, Aylesbury. Really ‘pro’ and ‘tight’. They played LOTS of my very favourite numbers, brilliant guitar work and great harmonies too – I loved their attention to detail. Too good to miss – a great night"

"The perfect gig on a perfect day. Chris and Brad were fantastic at our wedding last week. Lively as ever and kept all our guests on the dance floor for hours. They were accommodating and easy going but still very professional. So many guests commented on how brilliant the band were. Recommended by a friend and so pleased we looked them up. Thanks guys you were awesome. All the very best, Kate & Pete xx"

"Really enjoyed listening to this duo. I love groups such as The Jam, Specials and the Blondie songs sounded like a Dj was playing them. These are very good!"

"The guys were absolutely brilliant and very professional for my daughter's special day. They arrived suited and booted, nice and early to set up and played a wonderful set during the reception drinks. Tom was a delight to deal with throughout the booking process, very easy to contact and I would strongly recommend them to anyone who wants to set their day off with a swing! Regards, David."

"We hired John and his band as a quintet for our wedding and what a wonderful choice. The guys travelled to the New Forest for us for our big day. Superb sound and multi talented. They provided a substantive song list to choose from plus a couple of extra requests. They had everyone up and rocking. Wonderful Irish sound and a memorable singalong to ‘Dirty Old Town’ to more modern music. On top of that lovely guys with a warm personality who really looked like they enjoyed performing. Recommended for any event. Many thanks for helping our day memorable. Paul and Jo"

"The day went very well and we were both delighted with everything, including 21st C. Many of our guests commented how good they were. One couple at our bash had met 47 years ago (on the 19th June) and their first dance had been Walk the Dog by the Stones. The band were asked if they could play it which they could not - at the time they were asked. The band went for their break and, when they came back, they had learnt it. The band played the song and the couple did the very dance that they had 47 years previously - what a fantastic thing for them to have done. It made such an impact and the band have my utmost respect for going out of their way to make it happen. The guys were absolute stars."

"Dorchester Strings were incredible! They played beautifully during our drinks receptions, where is was so lovely to have them playing in the background. They mostly played modern music, that we had requested, so many guests commented saying it was like Bridgerton! Hearing them play was one of the highlights of our day, the only downside was we should have had them for longer as we had to go away for photos during part of our drinks receptions. We would highly recommend Dorchester Strings for any event and perfect for any wedding! "

My kids had said they definitely were NOT going to dance but when they saw all the adults having so much fun, they had a go and then were hooked. Thank you so much for your patience!"
