"I just wanted to write to thank you for the amazing music yourself and the band played on Saturday for our wedding. I can’t tell you how many compliments we’ve had on how great you were. I’m sorry about the slight delay to starting (I promise that wasn’t all our fault - there were a few delays from the venue side ?), but we were just so grateful for the incredible atmosphere you and the band gave to the evening reception. The dance floor was packed the whole time and we’re just so thankful! You’re all super talented and thanks for being so great with all the communication leading up to the wedding. "Fabulous!!! We booked The Lazy River for my 1920's birthday cocktail party. They were fantastic, setting the perfect atmosphere. They are professional, reliable but more importantly brilliantly talented musicians. I would certainly recommend them. "

They were brilliant from booking, great communication and even did a brilliant performance for our first dance. "Excellent from start to finish! They have a wonderful vocalist Sarah Jane and the guys played brilliantly. Everyone has said how much they enjoyed the band, their music and vibe. They had everyone up and dancing even those which have never been seen to dance before! . Organisation was really easy, Christian is a lovely chap and so easy to make arrangements with. Everything ran so smoothly thanks to the helpfulness and professionalism of the group. Nothing was too much trouble and they clearly enjoy playing together, which radiated through the party. I hope you all enjoyed playing for us as much as we enjoyed dancing to you! Thank you for a brilliant night!"

"We had invited Manuel and Renato for our Jubilee party for Saturday. We really enjoyed the smooth instrumental pieces and Manuel’s singing turned the evening into a party! It was a real treat to have them. "

"I hired the band for my 50th Birthday party. I thought they were excellent, played exactly the kind of music I was looking for and which got everyone up on the floor dancing – even from the first song - which is always difficult. The singers were superb and everyone enjoyed the interactive session, especially me! All of my guests were very complimentary about the band and we all had a brilliant time. In fact, we’re still talking about the party and what an excellent band they were."

"We had an absolute ball on our wedding night and that was definitely due to you guys. The music was brilliant and the flexibility when I requested a song and when you allowed one of our guests to serenade us was most appreciated. The variety of music we could choose from was great and allowed us to pick something for everyone - although I don’t think I managed to leave the dance floor all night! We thought you did a fantastic job and really looked the part and it felt like you were playing for most of the evening apart from a short break. "WOW! The band were fantastic and were a great addition to our product launch. The band worked around our needs as some of our timings were a bit approximate but this was no problem and they helped us every step of the way. Would high recommend and have already handed out their card to other colleagues and friends. "

"THE BLACK JACKS... Finding a wedding band is tough- you search on google, watch a couple of videos of a number of different bands, and have to settle for one not really knowing whether they’re any good live. Having done this, we were hopeful that The Black Jacks would be alright. They were BRILLIANT. From our first dance (The Kinks, You Really Got Me- which they do excellently!) to the last dance of the night, the dance floor was packed. They even smashed the DJ-ing of the iTunes music in the break between sets, playing great music that complimented the live songs. Every person that we have spoken to after the day has mentioned how great the music was. On top of all this, they are the nicest people- totally relaxed when our timings went out of the window, great to chat to at the end of the evening, and they even offered my mum a lift back to her hotel when we were let down by a cab! Thank you for a great evening guys. I cannot recommend them enough. Book this band!"
