"Booking a band for the most important day of your life is nerve racking, to say the least. We really liked your website and the clips, but it still wasn't an easy choice. After much deliberating we decided to take the plunge. In the build up you were really responsive to all of our questions & on the day you turned up & set up discretely and when we were ready to go, you put on a great show. Not only did you sound amazing, you looked the part as well. With a professional setup, great set list and enough energy to keep everyone going all night. It was absolutely fantastic & we couldn't have asked for anything more. We couldn't recommend you highly enough it capped off an amazing day and the fact that you setup outside under the fairy lights so we could dance away the night with friends & family was magical. My only regret was that you had to stop. ​ Thank you so much for making our wedding so special. I don't know what I had to worry about! Best of luck with the rest of the year, I hope it's a busy one. "

"Jim made our party! He rocked up and straight away slotted in so well with us all. He was fun, VERY cool, and engaging. Everyone loved him!! He brought other instruments the group could enjoy too, so it was a very interactive session. He also gave a 'lesson' on how to play the bongos (we were all terrible!!!) But it was so much fun. Thanks Jim! You're ace!! "

"James really was such a brilliant addition to our wedding day. With the sun shining and James performing outside our guest and ourselves had the most wonderful time. James was a huge hit with all the guests from our 1 year old niece who was up and dancing to our older guests. We told James about our music preferences and he really hit the nail on the head with all of the songs he performed. We are so grateful James was able to perform at our wedding and really do think he put the cherry on top of our special day. Another huge Thankyou and well done to James having only two days to learn our first dance song he absolutely smashed it, filling the room with lots of happy tears. This really did mean so much to us that he was able to do this. We honestly could not recommend James more we hope to have his entertainment again in the future at more events as he was brilliant. Thank you so much James! Your charisma, musical talent and beaming personality were so loved and enjoyed by us all! Huge thanks and appreciation, Ward & Jess "

"Dear Big Smoke Brass, I would like to thank you so so much for performing as the warm-up act for our production of Cabaret. It was absolutely fantastic to have such an exciting welcome for our audience members and everyone was buzzing! It was the perfect way to kick off the evening's entertainment! In fact many people said it was a shame that you only played for 15minutes and would have happily listened to you for hours! You were absolutely professional in your presentation and the music was absolutely stunning. "Alan was excellent, from my initial contact with him through to his performance on the day! He was reliable, responsive and played really well. We were particularly impressed that Alan learnt a new song for our wedding ceremony, it made our day!! So many people commented on how good he was, even when all the kids were running around him in the courtyard he kept his composure! Thanks again, Alan."
