"I booked Josh for my husband’s 50th party in the house . I booked him and his communication with what I would like played, timings was fantastic . I suggested a few songs and then Josh updated me prior to the night with the final song list. Would definitely use him again ."

"Firstly, thank you so much to The Covered, you were amazing! Thank you. xx The initial enquiry was promptly responded to. We traded a few e mails and a phone call, I got a sense from our first contact that you were approachable, friendly and passionate about delivering the best performance you could for your client. On the day of the event, you were present at the venue nearly 3 hours before the start of the performance. Whilst I struggled with helium balloons (I now know I could never be a children's entertainer!!) I could see and hear how much attention to detail went into the preparation for your performance. I think it's worth mentioning that your sound engineer, Ivan, is an absolute expert. I felt very lucky to see and hear your passion as all of the band prepared for the performance. During the course of the set up, I had the opportunity to catch up with individual band members. You were all so down to earth and friendly it really set the scene for an inclusive and friendly evening. Coming on to the performance. Stunning!! Incredible and stunning. The stage backdrop was very attractive and complimented the performance. The drums! Super fantastic to watch and hear. There was so much to see and hear from The Covered, all of it fantastic! One of the guests told me later, "The band were great, certainly the best I have heard for many years". To be fair, the compliments for your performance were non stop. If you are reading this review as a potential client, don't hesitate!! Book this amazing band before they get snapped up. Lastly, thank you John, and thanks to your band, your sound engineer and your backing vocalist. We had such a heart warming family celebration at which you were the front and centre. Hiring The Covered was a privilege. If we are to do the same again we will be in touch xxxx"

" STEVENAGE - 5th May 2019 Had the pleasure of meeting John when he very kindly agreed to play his music at a ceremony on a very windy beach, for my Dad’s scattering of the ashes ceremony. John was without a doubt, the perfect person for the job. It was an absolute pleasure hearing him play songs that my dad used to sing, when he was a musician himself. John is incredibly talented, and one of the nicest people you will meet. He really went the extra mile for our slightly unorthodox approach for a ceremony. The beach happened to be incredibly cold on the day, and windy. There was also a bit of a walk down to the beach (further than what we were expecting), but john was so kind and obliging, and just went along with it all very professionally. He put up with our unruly, crazy behaviour as well. We will be booking him again, and I cannot recommend him strongly enough. If you have looked at booking John, do it. You will not be disappointed! "We hired Rafael to play the sax through music student hire, communication before our event was also 10/10! He did not disappoint! he was a beautiful touch to our evening that kept our guests happy and entertained, a very talented, professional, fun guy! He played solo for our first dance which was brilliant! Would highly recommend.. :)"

"Just Dance were BRILLIANT! So nice to communicate with before and during my party, and they were just fantastic on the night. I literally didn't stop dancing. I would definitely book the band again - fantastic value, too. Thank you so much, Just Dance (Nick and the band)!"

"Trio Capriccio played at our wedding last September and we couldn’t recommend them enough! We really wanted something different to the usual quartet groups often played at weddings and Trio Capriccio didn’t disappoint. Such a beautiful sound to walk down the aisle to. The group were also beyond accommodating when we brought our wedding forward with 4 days notice due to covid restrictions and didn’t complain when I sent over a list of preferred songs just the afternoon before! They were clearly already well rehearsed and couldn’t have been more accommodating! They have a huge repertoire so were able to cater for traditional wedding songs, hymns and pop songs which made the whole service really individual to us. Thank you so much! We wish we could do it all again."

"Stephen was AMAZING at our garden party. He was a trooper and even took requests for songs he'd never heard of or played before and then sounded like he'd played them forever. We all had so much fun singing along and dancing to what he came up with, highly recommend and we can't wait to have him back."

"Great little entertainer, Irena has a really sweet voice. My favorit's were the ABBA songs, close your eyes & it's so authentic. This lady has a lot of talent & a most likeable personality. She is also very patient, our 'do' overran by approx an hour due to a prolonged meal going on far too long (slow food preparation which I intend to complain about) So Irena's spot was unavoidably delayed (Sorry you were messed about Irena!) If your looking for a really good female vocalist, look no further but be warned, she will have the audience up on their feet dancing with the first couple of songs!"
