We hired Elephants in the Room for a private party and they delivered on every count – kept 100 people dancing and singing all evening. This is the ultimate live party band. "Amazing night with joyous music from the band from start to finish. Very accommodating for our age span of 8 years to 80 years! Plenty of caller participation to get us all going in fun dances which everyone said made them ache the next day! I heartily recommend them. Very friendly too! "

"Vernon was a very good performer and was able to be flexible to the needs of the audience, a lot of who were of lets say of more senior years. he did 2 good sets and then led people at the end in Aud langs syne at midnight. \i would certainly recommend Vernon to anyone in the future"

"The early part of the day was covered by your HARPIST, she was extremely accomodating moving her position (and heavy harp) 3 times at our request including onto the balcony whilst photographs were being taken outside. Her flexibility and willingness to do this was well above and beyond the call of duty and I would be grateful if you would pass on our very sincere thanks for her support as I missed her departure on the day. And of course the music, a mixture of East and West, was superb and enjoyed and commented on by all. The Wedding Breakfast was accompanied by music from your STRING QUARTET who were similarly flexible when we moved their position. Music was again a mixture of Bollywood and classical/jazz/film music and, once again, enjoyed by all. Finally my thanks to you, your response to my very late request for musicians was both friendly and professional and your ability to provide to the specifications I supplied (a mixture of Indian and western music) was unique and certainly saved the day for me. In closing I would have no hesitation in recommending your organisation to others and would be happy for you to publish this note in part or full as you desire. Regards Nigel"

"Mr Love was truly fantastic - His happiness and party mode was contagious - He brought several instruments for the guests to play with - He had a full sound system and ability to play Aux music from iPhone - He stayed for over 7 hours even though we only agreed 3 hours I would highly recommend him for a fun party!"

"What a magical time we had! Vicky and the Devon Strings were a treat to listen to and a treat to interact with. We had a wonderful gathering of people to celebrate the retirement of a very dear friend, and many of the people there were knowledgeable about music. The Devon String quartet fulfilled all of our expectations and beyond. What a delight to hear such professional and sensitive playing, performed with such kind hearts and obvious joy. "I recently booked House of Chords to play a gig at my wedding reception party at relatively short notice. The party was held on a Thames river boat cruise in London. I liaised directly with Mike from the outset, and was pleasantly greeted by an exceptionally professional service. Attentive to every detail, Mike addressed all of my concerns promptly ensuring total peace of mind. On the evening of the gig, House of Chords were ready and eager to please when all our guests arrived and delivered the goods musically. They are exceptionally talented musicians with a great, friendly demeanour. The evening was enjoyed immensely by everyone and I would have no reservations whatsoever in recommending House of Chords to anyone to play any gig large or small with minimum of fuss and maximum impact!"
