"Black Velvet Band Ceilidh Trio – Emma’s Daughter’s Wedding – April 2025 What a brilliant evening! The band were exactly what we wanted for my daughter’s wedding and really helped the reception go with a swing. Good music and the caller was great fun and guided us through the dances. "Soul Delight were amazing!!! They performed for us at our wedding and they really got the crowd on their feet every time, even though it was a long evening everyone was dancing. Andy was a great communicator with the music selection and sorting everything out. They were upbeat and lots of fun. Layla is an amazing singer and even when some of our guests got carried away with their dance"

"Loved having them churn out the reels at a private party. (13th September 2025 Saturday Chesterton Road, Cambridge CB4) Couldn’t have been happier with our choice. I think they read the audience well and our (in) capabilities at following instruction, which meant that we did enough right to keep the dances going and cause enough confusion for fun and hilarity to shine through. "The band were absolutely 10/10. We hired ‘The Marvellous Motown Souls’ (10 piece) for our wedding. My goodness, this band are awesome! They were first class from start to finish. The communication from James when planning was outstanding. They learnt multiple additional songs at a request without additional charge. They even accommodated my terrible singing on stage for one song. Our venue commented on how polite and helpful the band were when they were setting up their equipment and instruments. The full and polished sound they produce is quite simply First Class. Our dance floor was packed from start to finish. So many of our guests have commented on how fantastic the band were. Guys you really made our wedding reception super special and we are so very grateful to you. If you are searching for a wedding band then you really can’t do any better than The Marvellous Motown Souls."

"Nev’n’Russ played last night at our village barbecue and kept us entertained with some lively music which was pleasing to all age groups. They have previously played in our small Village Room and toned it down to suit the venue, and have ramped it up for the garden of our local pub. Would thoroughly recommend "
