"I just wanted to write to thank you for the amazing music yourself and the band played on Saturday for our wedding. I can’t tell you how many compliments we’ve had on how great you were. I’m sorry about the slight delay to starting (I promise that wasn’t all our fault - there were a few delays from the venue side ?), but we were just so grateful for the incredible atmosphere you and the band gave to the evening reception. The dance floor was packed the whole time and we’re just so thankful! You’re all super talented and thanks for being so great with all the communication leading up to the wedding. "The BV's performed in June 2016 at my parents Golden Wedding celebration and we couldn't have asked for better. Their playlist was excellent and fitted perfectly for the occasion. They set up up promptly and were excellent at involving my parents and the younger guests appropriately making it a very special and enjoyable evening. I actually can't recommend them any higher!"

"Joanne sang at our wedding reception... with me on guitar. It was a surprise for my wife, and involved much "secret" practice during the preceding weeks! Jo was incredibly accommodating and patient. Her voice is something special, and really brought a new dimension to the songs we played. My new wife, and our families, were blown away. A perfect performance... highly recommended!"

"We were so impressed with the band- very friendly, professional and accommodating of our requests both in the planning stages of the wedding and on the evening. We asked for the band to play for a long time on the evening of the wedding and they sounded amazing in every set. We had so many compliments after the wedding about the music and the band genuinely helped to make our wedding reception perfect."

"We booked Shakers Gold for our corporate event following a recommendation and they were amazing – not only the music, which got the party started, but also a couple of sessions of Bandeoke, which was great fun. The addition of a Photo Booth just ticked all of the boxes and our evening was complete – a huge success. A huge thank you to Shakers Gold!"
