"We just want to say thank you so much for playing at our wedding on the 1st March and being amazing, so glad we booked you as hearing you play as I walked down the aisle was the best feeling and certainly made it special. I don't remember much about the wedding as the day just flew and it's all pretty much a blur but I do remember the doors opening and hearing you start to play....was an incredible feeling. Thank you so much again! "

"Black Velvet Band Ceilidh Trio / Claire’s 60th Birthday / May 2025 Black Velvet Trio were absolutely perfect for the barn dance we hosted. The trio were cool, calm and professional in their ability to literally herd cats! They were able to bring a huge smile to every face which was always my wish. The musicians were brilliant at just playing wonderful barn dance music whilst we laughed and bumped and crashed about with our two and sometimes three left feet. Our last (came too quick) dance was the Swiss Roll. We all loved it and would be so happy to have Black Velvet Trio back to do it all again."

"Can I say a massive thank you to you for all your efforts on Saturday night. The music was superb and many of our guests have commented on the quality and originality of the music. It suited everyone of all ages and everyone was up dancing which was exactly what we were hoping for. The whole experience was great, from the ease of booking to your response to my questions, thank you. "Fantastic performer! Working with Joe was an absolute pleasure. He was quick to get back to us on everything and very professional! We worked on a set list for our wedding and he took all of the feedback we had into consideration and adapted it accordingly. He also made organisational suggestions for the actual day which was great, as it was regarding things that I otherwise wouldn’t have considered! Everyone at the wedding loved Joe and set the scene for what was a wonderful day! Thank you, Joe!"
