"We all know the Vera Lynn favourites from the Wartime era, but this inventive, funny and playful duet takes the music of the 40s and a bit beyond to a new level, including numbers which I'd forgotten about, but loved. They are a perfect harmonic duet, with voices which cover the full range, each bringing their own complimentary personalities to the songs. And what a variety of songs there are! From the tear jerking wartime hits, to the fun and frivolity that also comes with that era: 'I like coffee, I like tea' from the Ink Spots. They don't make life easy for themselves! Some of the lyrics are real tongue twisters, but they bring polish and verve to what they do. Their humour between numbers keeps the whole evening in the Forties 'vibe', and their close harmony gives the Andrews Sisters a run for their money. I'm a child of the 60s, but really enjoyed the evening. If you love close harmony of the era, nostalgia and playful fun you will love this show."

"We just wanted to say an enormous thank you to the band, absolutely amazing evening which was due to the fantastic jazz music they played for us, loads of our guests said to us during the evening and the following day that it was the best event they had been to in years, they loved the music. "Party Gangsters were the highlight for my 30th Birthday – ALL generations spent the whole night dancing away. They tailored the night to my requirements and did a set list with songs I would like and I had such a happy time! Would recommend for anyone who wants a great band that gets the room dancing/with lights and even disco tunes for the breaks! They were so good that my husband and I booked them for our wedding last month and yet again they didn't disappoint - I am a music lover and there is no better than a live band to play at any celebration - Beats any DJ any day in my opinion because they tailor the songs to you and really get the room grooving! Can't wait for another celebration so we can book the band again - Great value,Great Band members and Great Music! You will be hard pushed to find another band with this talent for this price - Fantastic! "

"Chris Flegg and his group, Mellowtone Jazz, played at both my 65th and 75th birthday parties to my and everybody else's total enjoyment. I would thoroughly recommend them. If you want people on the floor dancing, this is the group!! Their library is very wide, and they seem to be able to accommodate most requests."

"Just wanted to say a massive thank you for all your help with the booking and a massive thank you to the guys coz they were amazing! My daughter has asked if they will play at her 21st, thankfully not for a few years but if I can afford a big do you are at the top of the list!!!! It was great to see the teenagers singing and dancing along with us oldies... I wish I had had more time to join in and dance, the stilettos also hindered me slightly!" "Dizzy Brasscals played at our wedding. They were amazing, and all our guests commented on how much they enjoyed their set. Dave worked with us to find out exactly what we wanted, and tailored the performance and DJ set accordingly. I can't recommend Dave and Dizzy Brasscals enough!"
