"Eager to please and delivers! This was Gavin's first gig at The Hightown and, to be fair, a bit of a tricky one. For our St. George's Celebration Night we required an act that could not only please the crowd with an interesting and varied set list, but that could also confidently include some traditional patriotic songs to set the right tone for our themed event. Given Gavin's act is wholly acoustic, this presented something of a challenge, but any fears I had were laid to rest as Mr Clarke delivered his own arrangements of songs like "Land of Hope & Glory" and "There Will Always Be An England" along with an assortment of others that really entered into the flag-waving spirit of things splendidly! Managing to win over the enthusiasm of a crowd more used to a heavy drum beat and driving bass line to get them going is no mean feat and Gavin's skill in putting together and serving up a programme that successfully catered for all our needs, without reproducing songs already done to death, was evidenced by people thoroughly enjoying themselves and taking to the dance floor. It's this ability to deliver that won him two further appreciative bookings with us! With a level of skill in guitar playing that is something to behold, Gavin's excellent vocal performance also deserves high praise, so if you are looking to engage the services of a fine vocalist, a fluent guitarist and a heck of a nice guy with bags of talent, you could do your venue or party a massive service and book Gavin for yourselves. "

"Nigel is an absolute legend ! This man can turn his hands to anything and any tune, even breaking into tune on our exit song when our song didn’t play through the system he very amazingly knowing what song it was broke into tune and gave us a glorious exit out of the church. Nigel played all afternoon for us, for our welcome drinks and our wedding breakfast and he was incredible, reading the audience and playing the most beautiful selection of music. We couldn’t recommend Nigel enough to anyone considering a lovely pianist at your wedding. Not only is Nigel a very talented pianist he is also a lovely gentleman who pre and during the wedding went above and beyond to help where he could and make everything such an easy booking process. "I can't thank Sophie enough for the beautiful music she contributed to my mum's funeral. We wanted to create a tribute to mum that authentically captured her life and Sophie did that perfectly. The vocals for Abide With Me alongside the choir and organ, contrasted Sophie's own emotional acoustic rendition of The Carpenters We've Only Just Begun and the finally Walk On By to end the service. I loved Sophie's sound from her videos but her performance on the day was beyond my expectations. Sophie, your understanding and interpretation of our idea will stay with us always, just beautiful. Mum would have absolutely loved it, that's the most I can say. "

"Martin and myself are so grateful to Mark for providing music for our evening wedding reception. We met with Mark many months before the wedding and spoke about the genre of music we would like. Mark was very obliging with regards to our choice and it seemed nothing would be too much trouble. The music on the evening was fabulous. Mark is a true professional and this shows in his playing. "Chris played for me with very little notice, which was hugely appreciated. I got to pick the songs I wanted to hear played, from a long list of numbers he is able to perform. Contact was fast and clear over email and text, and the set itself was 100% professional and polished. Thank you!"

"We booked Vernon for a family celebration at a cottage in North Yorkshire and he did not disappoint! Vernon caught the mood just right and his guitar playing and vocals are excellent. The whole family really enjoyed his set which helped make the occasion special. Vernon is also a lovely guy and got on with everyone really well. Highly recommended!"
