Review Centre: Swing Bands

"On Thursday 19th October Wallasey Golf Club held my final Annual dinner as Lady Captain. Chris G provided the live entertainment and created one of the best atmospheres I have experienced in the many years I have attended these do’s. He has an amazing warm tone to his voice which melted all the ladies hearts. He worked the tables and floor space and had us all up dancing within minutes. His Buble’ and his general sessions were equally fabulous and very well received by all ages. An absolute star attraction , polite, talented and a joy to listen to. Thank you once again Chris G. "We loved Evelyn and the band, they were truly professional musicians and they have an incredible sound. Alba has an amazing voice and she sang our first dance song better than any version we have heard before! They were so helpful in terms of communication, set up and start times and kindly let us use their microphone for the speeches. The dance floor was filled for their entire set and they appealed to the entire age range of guests at our wedding. I could not praise the band enough!"

"We hired Tom for our clients wedding. Communication was key to him and all emails send leading up to and after the wedding had been clearly laid across. On the day he arrived a lot earlier than required, plugged his kit in and was ready to play. The setup was neat and tidy and his music knowledge was fantastic! He interacted with the guests and got them involved in his set with plenty of dancing. Since the wedding we have booked Tom for over 50 events and each one he’s been absolutely brilliant! Our clients love him, we love him and he will continue to be our preferred musician for years to come. Being in charge of wedding planning for a company myself I honestly wouldn’t recommend him if I wasn’t sure he’d impress every single person reading this review! "

"Daniel Benisty was the entertainer at my son’s wedding. We still talk about the amazing energy he generated and people who were there say it was the best part of the evening . Daniel was extremely courteous, punctual and professional. He visited the venue with us and planned the whole event. He went out of his way to assist with renting a stage, lights etc. His band and singer who were phenomenal, kept playing well after their allotted time. In short, book him !"

"I honestly could not recommend Thomas enough. I just so happened to stumble across him when I was searching for wedding live acoustic singers. It was important to me to have someone who would sing the love songs of our choice for ceremony etc and who could then bring the vibes at the wedding drinks reception also. He did both so perfectly. We picked quite different songs for ceremony including Edith whiskers & then oasis for departure and he sang them all so beautifully and nailed each one in his own way & version. All through the conversations from start to finish he was so lovely and willing to take on all our ideas. I wanted up beat for drinks reception and he said he would just go with the vibes of the guests and he smashed that. We had a garden ceremony with a lot of outdoor drinks, and garden games and he slot it fantastically being outdoors and made it such a wonderful afternoon. It says something when your male guests could not stop dancing and singing along to the music, the guests and Thomas enjoyed it that much he over ran his allocated time and sang right through to our wedding breakfast, which wasn’t planned but very much appreciated and he could see how much fun everybody was having and enjoying every song. He also worked along side our DJ to sing our first dance song, which was Miles smith stargazing, and he smashed it. Watching videos back I am so happy with how it sounded & how much he got the crowd going, as when you are in the moment it all just sounds like a blur but the videos and my comments from my guests speak for themselves. I couldn’t recommend him enough. Do not hesitate to book for your wedding, ours would not have been the same without him. Thank you from the bottom of our heart Thomas, memories to last a lifetime."

"I liked the fact that when booking it was 'relaxed' in that it was not too rigid with the timing. Unfortunate that Hannah was sick but this made no difference to my party as Sarah -Jane stepped in. Again flexibility (on both sides) resulted in a great performance - we received lots of compliments only downside was that we were unable to listen as much as we would have liked to .... There's always a next time. ..... We and especially our guests thoroughly enjoyed the performance - very happy to recommend . Ann & Antonio"
