"Swing is the Thing played at our wedding and were absolutely sensational. Suzanne and all the band contributed to making our wedding absolutely fantastic. The music was perfect and every single guest commented on how brilliant the group was. They adapted to our schedule, had been in touch beforehand to enquire as to whether or not we had any particular requests, and tailored their performance to our evening. From dedicating a special song to the two of us, to performing in a charismatic, lively and thoroughly enthusiastic way, we couldn't have wished for a better band or nicer group of people. We wouldn't hesitate in recommending this band for any event - they were well and truly fabulous and we feel so grateful that they played for our wedding. Even their outfits contributed to creating a fantastic atmosphere! Thank you Swing is the Thing!"

"We had our wedding ceremony on Sat and Jessica sang for us with her guitarist Giulio. She was absolutely amazing and we had a truly unforgettable experience. Jessica and Giulio were very professional on every stage of the preparation process incl contract, payments, and music related choices. "Vic was the music man for my mum’s 2 parties at the local Village Hall. An afternoon tea party for her village friends and an evening buffet for family and close friends. Vic got the mood just right throughout. Taking a background role with recorded music when needed; leading sing a longs on request; and, later, playing dance music for us to let our hair down to. He brought all his own equipment; was flexible with timings; had a wide repertoire; and perhaps, most importantly, seemed pleased to be sharing such an important date in our diary and to be helping make mum’s special day even more special. "Fi has, rightly, a greatly praised voice, and this worked a treat in that environment. She possesses excellent technique & frequently went for complex lines and pulled them all off with aplomb. She has equally good dynamic sensibilities and used shifts of these with discretion for extra effect. Alex's playing mirrored this: skilled yet tasteful with generally chorded accompaniment when Fi was singing and when it came to his solos, the runs, though often improvised, served the song, not his ego. They have an empathetic understanding I think: not just in the interplay between voice & piano but also in their several duets & this was another element in the playfulness"
