"We really appreciated Sheldon's flexibility to work around some of the different aspects of our wedding. We needed to incorporate a number of unusual traditions and requests into the evening's entertainment and Sheldon worked to ensure they could all be successfully achieved."

"Best wedding decision we made! The dance floor was packed from the first song to the last, and they even let us jump on stage for a singalong!"

"Absolutely Fantastic! Piano Matt was fantastic during the lead up to and on our wedding day. Nothing was too much to ask. He created a completely bespoke package for us and was so adaptable, understanding and responded to our messages very quickly! He was amazing and we had so many compliments about his music on the day! He sang our first dance song and it was magical. I would 1000% recommend him to anyone thinking for an amazing pianist."

"The feedback from attendees and volunteers was unanimously very positive : one of the best entertainers we’ve had. Voice perfect along with the selection of songs from musicals, pop and classical. Good interaction with the audience and the ability to cope perfectly with some surprise audience participation. It was very good Lizzie Hales and we very much look forward to welcoming you back soon. "Will was absolutely fabulous, entertaining the guests at the reception venue. The style of music he played was perfect for the occasion, ranging from light classical to smooth Latin and Jazz as well as more upbeat popular melodies. We would not hesitate to use Will again."

"REVIEW OF OUR LATEST CD ALBUM IN JAZZ JOURNAL Kit Packham’s One Jump Ahead: Everybody Loves A Boogie The entertaining British jump-jive revival band ploughs the familiar furrow, offering cheeky covers and originals with occasional solos By Hugh Rainey -13 October 2023437 Formed in 1984, this UK group plays jump-jive in a bright and breezy, entertaining style, blended with R&B and vintage rock and roll, and seasoned with light-hearted humour. Leader Kit Packham sings confidently in appropriate style on every track bar one, and contributes alto and tenor to the backing throughout. Packham also composed and wrote the lyrics for eight of the tracks and alternative lyrics for some cheeky adaptations of standards – My Swingin’ Valentine (an upbeat treatment of My Funny Valentine, which surprisingly works quite well) and the very funny Basingstoke (to the melody of Baby Face) and Buy A CD (with appropriate uninhibited bathos to My Way). On the whole, the originals work well for the genre. Love Me, Love My Saxophone and I Dig Potatoes have amusing lyrics somewhat reminiscent of Louis Jordan and Slim Gaillard in style. Enjoyable versions of Don’t Get Around Much Any More, Is You Is Or Is You Ain’t My Baby and My Swingin’ Valentine, come closest to straightforward jazz treatment with some worthwhile brief solos and touches of arrangement. The tracks come from sessions in 2009, 2017 and 2023, mainly as six or seven piece lineups it seems, but with changing personnels. Though studio recorded, the CD comes across as cheery live entertainment – for dancers, rather than perhaps for close, serious listening. But it’s certainly good fun, with some inventive fresh material, and a sense of humour to give a welcome lift to your spirits in these troubled times. Discography Everybody Loves A Boogie; Don’t Clap On The First Beat Of The Bar; Old Rock “n” Roll Songs Never Die; Don’t Get Around Much Any More; Love Me, Love My Saxophone; Is You Is Or Is You Ain’t My Baby; Route 66; Alley Club Blues; As Time Goes By; Alright, OK, You Win; Lockdown Chase; My Swingin’ Valentine; I Dig Potatoes; Basingstoke; Buy A CD; We Had A Real Good Time/We’ll Meet Again (53.52) Collectively: Kit Packham (v, ts, as, bar, cl); Nick Tomalin, Perry White (p); John O’Reilly (g); Steve Knight (g, ts, bj); Alex Keen, Ollie Blanchflower (b); Derek Gayle, Kenrick Rowe (d); Simon Da Silva (t); Tracey Mendham (ts, cl). "I recently made my sister a ladies afternoon tea party at home which Martin played at. First and foremost, when I got in touch with Martin from this website he was so professional and very personable. (I was the typical client, asking a million questions, before he had time to answer). On the day Martin was great. He set up without a fuss and just got on with the job of entertaining 30 glamorous over 50 year olds!! I would highly recommend him for any function as his repertoire is very large. My daughter is getting married in 2014 and I will have no hesitation in booking Martin again."

"We had London Smooth Trio for the Mother's Day event. It was fantastic and all our guests loved it. We had around 200 guests for this event and they played really good music and entertained the guests to the fullest. The band played a variety of tunes and the lady singing had a beautiful voice which people just wanted to listen more off. I would highly recommend them to anybody."

"Wow! You guys were fantastic at our wedding on Saturday. We had so many people comment on how much they enjoyed the band and what a great way it was to start off our wedding reception. Emma and I are about to go on honeymoon but we wanted to drop you a brief note to express our thanks to each and every one of you for helping to make our day so very special. Please pass on our genuine appreciation to all of the band."
