Review Centre: Party Bands

"Well, what can I say, other than this band are AMAZING!! The service in the run up to our wedding his month was great with working out set lists and all the other wedding type info needed for the night. The band arrived early to set up on the day and started the disco as soon as they were set up as we purchased the pro DJ service as well as the live music (which was also great). The live sets though were just phenomenal and what I loved the most was the rock sound given the music was at our wedding. Everybody commented on how brilliant the band were with some even saying they couldn't recognise the live sets versus the DJ sets as the music quality they produced was just so good. Honestly, I can't praise them enough and they really made our evening - it was non stop dancing. I would more than recommend this band for any upcoming events!! Thanks again guys Claire and Hayden. "

"It was an excellent night, everyone commented on how much they enjoyed the band. Wonderful music, really talented musicians, and just the right blend of hits to get people on the dance floor. It was just a shame the early curfew for the venue otherwise I think people would have happily partied the night away dancing as you played. "

"What a fantastic band! I cannot praise them highly enough. They really made the party fly. Fantastic people, amazing vocals, fabulously talented musicians. They are all so full of energy and fun. They had everyone on their feet calling for more. They were very professional, great communication from when I booked them till when they left the venue. They made everything so easy. Everyone LOVED them from my teenage stepdaughter to my 80 year old Mum and everyone in between. I cannot thank you enough Lazy River Band, you brought the whole event together and left everyone with sore feet and huge smiles! Thank you !"

"Just a quick message to say that I thought you were amazing on Saturday! You were everything that I could have hoped for and far exceeded my expectations, you really were excellent and I have had loads of texts’ off friends and family saying how much they enjoyed you and where did I find you! In all the weddings I have ever been to I have never seen a dance floor so full from start to finish and the song choices you made to play were spot on. I know a few people took your details for future functions that they have! I think you absolutely made the day for us and I could not recommend you highly enough! I’ll keep a look out on your website for any future showcases that you do as I will make a huge effort to come and see you play again! Thanks once again for making our wedding day perfect!"

"Cannot recommend The StereoBeats highly enough. We have received so many compliments on how good the band performed at our wedding. The dance floor was full the whole night, with everyone having a great time. The variety of music was excellent; keeping all age groups entertained, the ability to incorporate a ceilidh is a great touch and David was good at giving us advice on ideas for our first dance which was really helpful. Overall a brilliant band, who clearly love what they do and Marsh the saxophonist is incredible! Love the sax solos and dancing!"

"A great night! We've hired bands to play before, but Alive and Kicking managed to get the best sound we've ever had. They played a wide variety of songs which were great to dance to and even learnt a song we asked for especially for the night. I highly recommend this band."

"My partner and I booked Stereobeats as our wedding band and they did not disappoint. They had the dance floor bouncing all night (despite it being a Wednesday). They were an absolute pleasure to deal with. We have had so many compliments from so many wedding guests about how good they were. "Firstly, Luke you and the band were fantastic on Saturday night, I can't thank you enough for making the party such fun! Narissa was amazing, I can't believe I doubted her as a stand in, she was great! The boys all played brilliantly, special mention to the sax guy for walking around the dance floor at one point! I had so many people comments on texts, messages of thanks for best party ever mainly due to the band! The dance floor was packed all night! One friend owns the Sound Gallery in High Wycombe so knows his stuff and said you were 'really tight' Lots of people asked where we found you so I will pass on the details of the website. Sarah, thanks for sorting everything, it was all a bit of a rush but perfect in the end! I would happily recommend Luke and his band! Thanks to everyone,"

"VOLT completely lifted our wedding to another level. From the very first track, the atmosphere in the room just took off. DJ Luis’ mixes were seamless, and the two singers had such incredible chemistry that everyone was instantly hooked. Our guests never left the dance floor—even the ones we thought would never dance. What impressed us most was how effortlessly they read the crowd, knowing exactly when to push the energy higher and when to ease it back. They were polished but also so easy-going and fun to have around. It genuinely felt like they tailored the whole night for us, and it was unforgettable."
