"You can have just a piper ..or you can have Spud, someone that all your guests will remember - he is the best! He is friendly, professional, very funny & of course extremely talented at playing the pipes! We remember him for not only his amazing pipe playing but also for chatting to our guests, having a laugh with us and of course for his fantastic toast!! Rubber bumpers!! (Private joke - he did not mention rubber bumpers) Would recommend anyone to get in touch with Spud when needing a piper for any occasion. "

"So firstly being English, we had to browse via websites different pipers and what they could offer… After searching for days we agreed on simply contacting a website. It was very early on in our wedding planning, I must admit and for us first impressions are a big influence. Safe to say Robin’s bio and description was spot on, why didn’t we just search here first!! We emailed the charming fellow, and immediately agreed on his wonderful nature, character and ability to influence our wedding. On the day his attention to detail is truly remarkable, the finish in his regalia was fantastic and was perfectly punctual. He started playing, and extended past what we had asked, simply a wonderful day made all the more special by Robin. We recommend him to anyone without hesitation, thank you so much once again. "

"Richard, on behalf of my Mum, Ross and myself, I just wanted to say a massive thank you for playing at my Dad’s funeral yesterday. You played Flower of Scotland and Loch Lomond beautifully. These tunes are so special to us all as Dad was born in Glasgow. My Dad was a wonderful man and the funeral only touched on half of it. Again, I cannot thank you enough. "

"Robin was superb and exceeded my expectations. I asked Robin to pipe on my last Munro summit in Glencoe during the afternoon of my 60th Birthday for a party of 14 walkers. Robin reached the summit early and was able to pipe while we descended from another Munro summit and made the climb up the mountain to the 925m summit of Stob Coire Raineach, which made the event unforgettable. Robin had never climbed a Munro before, and his dedication and meticulous planning was very impressive, especially as he was the youngest person on the mountain. After the celebratory piping on the mountain top, he then piped for an hour wearing full ceremonial Highland dress in the evening at my birthday party which was held at the Red Squirrel Campsite in Glencoe. Robin is very charismatic, and he managed to get other campers involved by arranging an impromptu outdoor mini-Ceilidh with cross-generational dancing. All my guests and other folk on the campsite were very impressed by Robin. Thank you very much for making the event so special for everyone involved."

"Jason came to pipe our primary 7 leavers our on their last day of school. He arrived in plenty of time (early infact!) and filled out every & any request we had. He really wanted to help us make this day special & one to remember for the kids. I’m so unbelievably grateful to Jason, and will most definitely use him again in the future!"

"From our daughter Kerri that got married at Loch Garten on Saturday the 7th August. - Spud was arranged as a surprise fo our wedding - and he really made the day ! Not only was he absolutely smashing banter in the nervous "before it's all go" moments, he was also the only one present to support my last moment run to the bathroom (in the forest) before heading up the aisle! (in the forest by Loch Garten) . His fab playing added a real air of atmosphere and ceremony to our outdoor, lochside wedding that it wouldn't have otherwise had - and he was a major hit with all the guests. Thank you so much again - cannot recommend enough! Kerri (and Chris) Ramsay-Collins From the Brides parents - We had an amazing day with Spud. He obviously has done many weddings but at least ,it was a first for him for a change, when the bride insisted on going to the bathroom in the woods before they set off. ... He was called in at the last moment as a surprise from us to our daughter and we are very glad he had a cancellation and could do ours. I could go on for ever about how good he is so I won't. What I will say is this, if you don't have him at your wedding you are a fool. He is a very nice man and you have the added bonus that he is a superb piper, the rest speaks for itself. "Thank you for coming along to Lauren's birthday bash in Ludlow and welcoming all the family with your playing. It was a lovely surprise for her and all the others, to be greeted by the sound of the bagpipes and a well-dressed piper. With the compact acoustics of the venue, playing just two pieces was perfect. The little girl of six, who is sensitive to any kind of loud sound, also enjoyed seeing a piper welcoming everyone. Knowing that you do travel, I will certainly be very happy to recommend you to anyone looking for a musician to entertain at an event. I hope our paths will cross again. With Very Best Wishes, Len"
